This one is a little bit special because we went on a road trip together to Getaway House in upstate NY! We both had such a relaxing and fun time, and it was a much needed extended weekend for us.

I am glad I watched this video. I am surprised that there were issues with the cabin (broken shade, lack of hot water) as I thought those particular cabins were well-run by the company that owns them. I think they are all owned by one company - I've often entered contests to win a free weekend at one, but I never did win. I think with a few tweaks - like a separate sink in the bathroom and more counterspace - those could be a great place to stay. I did laugh when you had the bugs in the video and "HATES BUGS" popped up. I spend my summers in Delaware County, New York. I think you would enjoy a weekend trip to Delaware and Otsego Counties. If you are looking to go further afar, several years ago, my husband and I enjoyed a 4-day weekend in the Geneva NY area in the Finger Lakes region of NY. Happy travels!

Pls tell us about the bugs, I'm really hesitant bc some reviews were talking about bugs in the cabin/bed ants crawling etc.. Which cabin will not have neighbors or is at least at the edge so neighbor from one side only? Again outdoors at night with the fire, how's the bugs situation?

I understand your Infiniti is 4 wheel drive. Is it recommended to get onto the camp site? I know it's recommended at different campsites because of the roads and inclines.

저 이번주 가는데 산불위험때문에 야외에서 캠프파이어나 불은 안된다고 하더라고요. 별도로 휴대용 가스버너 안들고 가도 크게 불편함은 없나요?

Do they provide the internet username and password or do I need to pay extra to get the wifi ? My friends and I planning a getawy. We want to make sure that we have the internet or phone signals to call our parents.
