Tiny Home VS RV Living is getting INSANE | 2024 Cottage 40CFD 

Okay I have some feedback for prototype 2, please leave the table height counter as is, people with children don't want them sitting at bar stools. Also, for those who work from home you would much rather have a lower countertop to work off of so that you have good posture with your feet on the floor not dangling from a bar stool. Thank you Hunter excellent video as always! Congrats to your little guy on his victory! Enjoy that steak! 🙌

We need more dual pane windows as standard.

This is hella nice. I would: 1) add another foot to the porch; 2) drop the shower pan for extra headroom; 3) replace the dresser with a chest of drawers so the cabinet door can open fully; 4) get a tankless water heater; 5) put notches in the pantry slide outs by the sink for the vertically challenged; 6) leave the eating counter as is, no barstools required. This is going to be a big hit with empty nesters or single retirees, that loft will be used for storage most of the time. They need to offer some reclining options for the living area for those that don't care about having the additional sleeping area. Should leave the counter at table height, older people with bad knees can't handle stool seating for any length of time.

Is it 4 season for FT living (i.e. double paned windows insulation for 0 to 110 degrees, heated underbelly), can you add a dishwasher?, are the drawers dovetail construction?, can this go all electric? Otherwise, very nice… especially the kitchen.

Wow 😮 that is nice! Love all the walk around room in there! And the windows! I would like to see a bit of a longer porch....and I wonder about the front porch idea. I know something like that isn't meant to be towed around like a regular TT, but when it is towed, what about rocks, etc getting kicked up onto that front porch and breaking all that beautiful glass??

The eating area needs a slide out to make the space there bigger, looks very tight to walk through there. Add a skylight in the shower to add more head room

It’s was worth traveling over four hours to show us this amazing RV feels like home. Nice to have a sky light in the shower for taller people over 6’2.

This is the bomb! I liked the Salem 29View’s windows, but it still felt “TT” esque… This checks every single box for me. I agree with other comments: leave that table height as it is. It’s the perfect working height and I want to sit in a chair NOT a barstool. I think the heated underbelly is super important (I may have missed that information). I love that the windows slide to the side for airflow. I hate the frameless windows that have no airflow (although w two sliding doors and a rear door it might not be a deal breaker as it was w the Brinkley). I think on a demand hot water system would be good. Last comment: I would prefer a window above the stove AND that is a terrible place for a paper towel holder!!!

Love it, still love the 20 G for the realistic loft and bedroom combo but this has a way better living/office space. Maybe if you mushed them together they would be the megatron of awesome "tiny home" rv movement pieces lol. But thanks for the travel for the tour! Love the option to shop around 😊

When people are sitting there to eat no one's going to be able to get in and out of that kitchen because you're going to be bumping into somebody and making them move all the time, which is a shame because the kitchen is very nice. And at least the stove is in the middle with prep on both sides!!!!!! The pull out slides in the cabinets in the kitchen or a nice idea but it takes away from your counter space because you can't put anything on that counter and leave it there or it's going to get knocked over every time you want to get something out of that cabinet. You really can't have enough counter space in these kitchens. Counter space is golden

This is really nice Hunter, I love the L couch, I see so many that just look as they have furniture lined up against the walls. Great window coverage, you can stay warm while you watch the kids playing outside! The kitchen is great, I love this style, it just is so much more useable.

Rock chips to that patio door are going to be a problem!!!

Great job and great RV! Dishwasher would be great as well as wired for solar add on , generator, ,and WIFI.

Love the modern style and appliances in kitchen! Top bunk space could be used for storage. One is I saw was there was no ventilation fan or small window in the bathroom or shower area. This would be much appreciated!

This is really really nice...It could very well the one we upgrade to next. (in a few years) There isn't much that I would want changed. The only real issue I see is that the pathway from living to kitchen, with the chairs and breakfast bar there and then the counter with the sink on the other side is kinda tight! I could see a lot of frustration as people are trying to get through that are if soimeone is sitting down....even when no one is sitting it is one of those "bottleneck" siturations. They might want to think the way the kitchen is layed out. I don't think they really need those cabinets over the counter. There is already a lot of storage in the kitchen. Maybe get rid of those..shorten the sink are counter to make more room for walking through. Without those cabinets that are on the counter there would then still be a good amount of counter space even if you shortened the whole sink area. Other than that. I wish the front porch area was just a little bit bigger. it is hard to imagine even just 2 people being able to sit out there. Just another 2 or 3 feet would make such a difference! So that's it. it is a perfect trailer for a seasonal lot and one I will keep on my list for the furture

I absolutely love this thing I can dream right. I’m currently living in a 2014 Tiffin 34TGA class A RV. It’s nice but a little tight and not enough storage but it’s workable. No pantry so the cabinets over the couch and dining table is where my food storage is.

I absolutely love it except for one little thing.. the tall slender cabinet to the left of where you would put your washer and dryer, I noticed when you opened it it hit the dresser next to it. So that might be a thing.

i think putting some tie downs on the porch section could turn the front porch into a spot you can put your bike to transport or even just keep it locked up out of the weather. would need ramps.. but thats easy enough. also that floor vent in the bathroom... worst spot.

Wow, they nailed it with this one! Currently on the search for a destination model for some property, and the 16ML/20OG were at the top of my list until I saw this. I really only have one suggestion for production models; if possible move the sink a little bit inward, and make that counter space to the right of it a flip-down extension piece. It would give more walking space between the kitchen and the dining bar. Other than that, this is fantastic! Love the seating area, the dining bar, the windows, and the cabinets around the fridge are a very nice touch. Can't wait to see one in person!

I love it but I don't need all the side doors. Maybe my preference, but the front one is enough. Love to be able to order one that way.

What is that vent doing in the middle of living room floor. It just looks wrong. Also for those of us who are NOT 6', PLEASE, do not change the counter to the one you described. LOVE LOVE the BIG ONE BOWL farmers sink

The toilet is too close to the bathroom door. It needs to be more centered in that space. Otherwise, I love it.

Would it be possible to have a version without the loft to have taller bathroom with more cabinets in the bathroom over the toilet and sink and nice high ceiling for shower? Especially for a couples model, the loft space is pretty useless

Hi again Hunter, what price will these be? Thanks for travellingv4 and half hours to show us on video and travellingv4 and half hours back home. We are from New Zealand and will be purchasing to ship back here to live permanantly on a site at our beaxh. Hope the changes are made to the benchtop pantry and made into an appliance garage for the voffee machine toaster jug nlendrr etc with outlets and a light that can be closed by cupboard or roller door. Hoping our comments get listened to by the manufaturers. Talk soon

Hi Hunter, can you please advise width with slideouts out and exterior height. Can you ask the manufacturers to change the benchtop pull out pantrys to a appliance station with Cupboards or roller door because as the bench where the pantry pulls out is prep space you lose the bench, prep space when opening the pantry especially if your in the middle of prep you would have to move everything off the bench to open. Also the bedroom brown cabinets need to change to white all white. Does this unit have auto stabilizers auto leveling and automatic front Hitch tongue jack. Keep up the gr8 work. Looking at purchasing and shipping to NZ where ee live. Have a contact in USA that would make contact. Regards Meg Humphreys

Where am I going to put the coffee maker? I wouldn’t want the front porch. I’d rather have more counter space in the kitchen. I wouldn’t want bar stools. Bathroom is too small. Cedar creek needs to really upgrade their floor plans and extras.

Who wants a bar style chair? They have No back support! The way it is now, it can be used for eating and or a desk area, for adult And kids. Once you up the height and switch to barstools, you do away with it by cutting out half of the people who can use it (kids), Plus the other half because adults want Back Support. Please take comments from customers, that upcoming change is Not a good idea.
