How did we get here?
We moved into our tiny home on wheels in fall of 2019 and started traveling full time as digital nomads. We absolutely fell in love with traveling full time but given the travel limitations currently in place, for the foreseeable future it’s going to feature less travel and more of the building that will go into converting our current RV to the off-grid tiny house!

Wow that was a BUSY couple of days...every week that goes by we continue to surprise ourselves at what we're capable of. Just in case you need a reminder, you are capable of absolutely ANYTHING if you put your mind to it. I commend both of you for being honest with each other, especially when one hurts another, and the other is angry. It offers a wonderful teaching moment for couples (gay or hetero) in relationships who think the world is coming to an end when anger is expressed in that relationship. Thank you for modelling healthy relationship principles, and for offering us a chance to see that a healthy relationship has it sorrows as well as joys. Enjoyed watching the tiles go up ... nice non-boring patterns, too!

@@marybrown6128 I am glad that they showed that they sometimes get angry and upset with each other. It would be human nature to want to edit out any conflicts. I have a lot of respect for them keeping in shots where you can see them being upset with each other. It is only natural that such things will occur when you are spending so much time together in such a small space. It reinforces the fact that you need to ensure that you are scheduling enough alone time for yourself.

Every time Tyler says “eh?” in a video the joy I experience automatically adds 5 years to my life. Also thanks for including couple conflict resolution in your videos! A lot of YT couples present an unrealistic perfect picture where they NEVER fight and I appreciate that you guys show authenticity. You’re the gay couple role models we sorely needed!

I thank Tyler and Todd for giving me the inspiration to learn how to build my own stuff and things. Today, I learned how to use power tools (because I didn’t care about them before because I was told it’s not sissy stuff 🙄) and built my own entertainment center. I cut all my wood! I am so proud of myself 🏅

Well first of all I'm in love with the tiles I love the pattern and colors it's so beautiful amazing , I'm so jealous right now I could actually cry . I really am enjoying following along with this adventure/journey you guys are on and honestly you are inspiring because you're real and your projects, no matter how difficult or complicated some of them might seem you accomplish them so well. Howdy Guyz!! I was watching you build your tiled stove enclosure. My concern is that the tile will directly transfer heat through to the paneling & could be a fire hazard. You should have put up some concrete backer board before tiling. You will have to keep a serious eye on that surround when using the stove. I would hate to see you lose your home to a fire. Excellent point...given the flu will be so hot when the stove is in use, the walls surrounding the flu should have some protection from the heat. Make sure your stove installation is up to local code. All the best. Great time selection !

Easy job Speaker wire will work, black tape, a little "arts and crafts" covers the hole. Once u take the screws out" you ll see it's easy And u have the drill!

I just recently found you guys. It seems my Covid time has been spent looking at videos of van life or off grid. I am over 65 and thinking of van life when I get back to the states ( currently living in Japan). With all the videos I’ve watched you guys are becoming my favorite. It is so nice to see the differences in your personalities and how your differences show the love at the same time.Keep up the good work. Also it’s ok to include wine time every few videos. We've spent the last 3 weeks demolishing the rotten parts of my workshop, repairing, and extending said workshop. Be careful of that popcorn ceiling,. It could contain asbestos fibers!

If the pop corn is hard, its asbestos, if that is the case you can 1/4 " drywall over it, Less expensive then an abatement team to clean it our.

Purdy paintbrushes are my favorite, in the US. I LOVE those tiles!!! Every single house we’ve lived in has never been square or level. Houses in the US are not built as well as they are in Europe, that’s for sure....... you guys did an awesome job!!! Hey Guys....Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying your channel and your amazing life with your beautiful Boys.. I've been binge watching for the past few evenings and just wanted to thank you for everything you do. You have a beautiful relationship and I wish someone would look at me the way Tyler looks at you Todd....my heart melts each time. Hey guys! I love everything you accomplished this week! Can I ask if the fireplace is going to vent thru the wall? If it is, I might add at least one more row of tiles on the fridge side wall and go up another however many rows to where the vent goes out and then one more above the exit (if that makes any sense at all). It would be more fire protection as well as protection from cooking debris if you use the stove top for cooking/grilling during the winter. Just some thoughts ... PS: I love the tiles you chose. They are absolutely gorgeous and fit right in with the kitchen backsplash. Have a great week! Love ya! Keep preparing for "Sweathah Weathah"!

wow thats a tiny stove, absolutely adorable but tiny, lol. i think at least two maybe three would fit inside mine so im sure you learned real quick how often you'll have to fill it. through the night especially. love the look of the tile around it.

I love the way you two get along, no doubt there will be disagreements, 2 rules my partner and I adhered to are, 1) don’t over dramatise the issue and 2) if you believe you’re wrong, admit it and apologise. Please, please, please ensure you have researched the safety issues with that fireplace. You’re also running LPG, one small leak plus fireplace = Boom! The “ running a big rig” didn’t go over my head. Lotsa Love from Oz Tom
