This is a short video complication of some footage from summer 2018. I'll walk you through what goes on in my head when I'm out using the Tiny Ten. Hope you guys enjoy! -Sam Kates Buy the Tiny Ten at www.tinytenkara.com
I love the videos. Reflects what I love about blue lining. I’m amazed though that your able to get that close to the trout on water that skinny. I’m usually on my belly casting 10’ leaders and still skittering fish. I can see them sprinting for the rocks and I’m not even 10’ from the bank yet.
I live in Eastern Idaho and have been fly fishing since the late 1970's. I am really glad I found you channel. This is the type of fishing I did when I was a kid and I want to do again. I am curious about your casts. Is it a roll cast or just a flip of the rod? Do you have any videos showing your cast?
Nice little stream and trout. I'll keep an eye on your site for when you have the TinyTen rod back in stock. I can see it being very handy in some of the tiny creeks that I sometimes fish here in Victoria, Australia. What length of line do you usually fish with on small creeks?6 to 8 feet? Cheers, Steve.
Excellent video. I like your philosophy of handling fish. However, I notice many Tenkara anglers not using net and bouncing fish over rocks. How about designing a very small net to match rod. AKTENKARA
