you can use small blocks of wood under the table to create more thickness, then use the clamps that come with the loom.

A handy tip! I think I will get some of those to use with my weaving. Seems like they would have a lot of good uses!

Thank you so much for this! First time weaving at securing it to the table was driving me crazy 😂

I always use non-skid mesh (for floor rugs) under my loom to keep it from talking a walk while warping.

Good tip ❤ I had a similar issue last week and used small F Clamps - the ones with the quick release ratchet. They don’t need as much hand strength.

You just need a stopper on each of the side rails that hang over the edge of the table to keep the loom from sliding. That could be a pair of clamps or even the same type of L shaped rod that you already have going through a hole drilled in the side rail. A hanging shelf bracket could also serve as a kind of cleat by hooking over the bottom rail and hanging over the edge of the table. This could be made out of a few pieces of wood. Agree with the nonslip rug backer or shelf liner. You could also just put a board hanging over the edge of the table a clamp the loom to that. The clamp will act as a stop.

Great idea, I have struggled with always finding a suitable place to adhere the loom because of the furniture edges in my home. Problem solved!

The spring clamps are very hard to open. I use Irwin’s Quick Grip clamps which have a lever to open them and are easy and quick to tighten.

Just slip a notepad or something similar to add a bit of thickness at the edge.
