You've really developed your own style over the years, I love to see it! It's inspiring how you've continued developing and experimenting despite the hate that used to surround you, man. Not many people can achieve the same. Please continue what you do, we've got your back!
@@HamsterXFilesLies. Mike just wanted to go his own way and even stated they are still great friends. Get your facts straight because you clearly have no idea what your talking about.
Tiny Toons went above and beyond the Warner Brothers early cartoon I had amired voice actor Mel Blank his silly humor brought laughter to children may his legacy continue on for decades .
The remake is awesome. I have Buster Busts Loose on the SNES. They have to release all the old games in a compilation for modern consoles, also they should include the Animaniacs games.
Awesome episode. It's been a long time since I've watched the old "Tiny Toons" show, and I keep forgetting there's a reboot currently on TV, should check that one out. Anyway I do currently have two of the Tiny Toon games, "Buster Busts Loose" on the SNES, which I used to play a lot as a kid, and "Buster's Hidden Treasure" on the Sega Genesis, which I have yet to play. Hope you have a radical Halloween, and congrats on the backing. :D
Yeah, I loved Bucky O'Hare WAY more than Tiny Toons as far as NES adaptations go, and having all the characters to switch out at will was a big reason why.
Hey Chris! Watched you since the beginning! Just recently watched all the Irate gamer Episodes from start to finish! Much love From a fan across the pond! West Yorks England 🎉😅
Great episode. I haven't played all the Tiny Toons games, but I enjoyed the first one for NES. Buster Busts Loose I found to be a lot of fun, too, albeit a bit challenging.
The first Tiny Toons Adventures game is actually the best Super Mario 3 clone, one of the best cartoon licensed games on the NES, I loved the cartoon on Fox Kids!
Tinny Toons was one of the best games on the NES. Plucky was always my favorite character. I never had the chance to play the SNES game but I like the bright colors it had. I remember there was a second carnival themed game on the NES and the Gameboy had a fun game as well.
The first game for NES was fun for sure, but boy was it hard towards the end. That forest level, good lord. So many hazards that could get you immediately.
Great review, Chris! Except with Tiny Toons 2, I have to be honest, it looks like you didn't even give that one a chance. You just blew through it and said it was horrible without actually playing much of it. Sure the levels are tricky, but they're not impossible. Well, I personally have never beaten the bumper car ride or even seen the haunted house, but the train level with Hampton is the easiest. Buster's Treasure Hunt on Sega isn't bad either.
I owned the first game on the NES as a kid and I loved it! I also had Buster Busts Loose on the SNES and I loved that one too! Great Games! The cartoon was a 90's icon. I remember them saying, " It's the 90's anything is possible" Lol yeah right!
I had never heard of that third Tiny Toons game on the NES until now. The amount of hours I spent playing Buster Saves the Day as a kid; pure nostalgia. I'll never forget that experience facing that final boss for the first time. I never got to beat the Tiny Toons Genesis game because the final set of levels were absolute torture. If you lose all your lives, they make you start from the 1st stage of those levels.
I remember watching your rage videos as a kid whenever I got home from school. The nostalgia 😆 It’s nice to see your channel is still active after so long!
Cool intro. The new Tiny Toones give me massive The Looney Toones Show vibe from 2011. Which was like Seinfeld, but was ruined by inter-spliced animated shorts made for babies.
4:07 makes me feel old.... Still getting pissed at games though! Some things just never change :D Cheers bro! Also that framing at 8:00 with the cartridges even with thesight jump was so damn smooth!
I remember playing a Tiny Toons game a long time ago. Now I don't remember what you did as I was only a kid, and I only played on my grandfather's PS1 whenever I visited him. What I do remember was playing the green duck Plucky and roaming around what appeared to be a school, and in one room contained Elmira Fudd. She would be scene skipping in the room towards Plucky as she would attempt to grab him and hug him to death. Afterwards, I have no idea. I don't remember what you had to do in that game. But for whatever reason, that part always that stuck out to even years later.
Yeah, Buster Busts Loose DID have lousy controls at times. The whole concept where you had to run up the walls just annoyed me (especially during the levels where the screen scrolls very fast and if you fall behind, Buster dies). What was even more of a slap in the face is that you had to beat the game on "challenge" mode, or you would not get to see the full ending. If you beat it on "normal", you only got to see a small part of the ending and then it would just go straight to the end credits. Challenge mode was VERY unfair. But yeah, the first game on NES was tons of fun as was Buster's Hidden Treasure on Genesis. The latter gets very hard later on, but at least you are given a sporting chance to beat it from start to finish. Great review, Chris! Very creative intro and outro with the Tiny Toons logo, too!
Hihihi....i also played Tiny Toon Adventures on NES in the 90s in my childhood. Wooah...that was very difficult...and also the gameboy version.....i like both but on the NES it was very hard to play...but thx for bring back the good old memories...
Never played the tiny tunes games much as a kid. Have fired them up a cpl times on my emulator. Have to say the bar at the bottom looks exactly like Mario 3. Also, congrats on reaching the blu ray goals. Cover art is sick ✌️❤️
I am so glad that Chris is still on scene after so many years along with AVGN. Great guy, remember people bashing him before time, I am so glad that he know have the love and support he deserve. Great content, great narration and great technical skill on editing. Have a great new year mr Chris, we are glad that you are here for us to give us entertainment.
The first NES Tiny Toon Adventures game is colourful and addictive but frustrating. I mean, one hit without a heart, you’re dead. Also, those Elmrya boss stages are tough, I can only do them with Dizzy or Furrball if the wall is suitable for him to climb. If she catches you, it’s back to Stage 1 of the area but they could have made it Stage 2. Funny you mentioned the TMNT NES game and how they should have let the player swap characters. Made me think: Buster = Leonardo, Plucky = Raphael, Furrball = Donatello, Dizzy = Michelangelo.
Chris that was Big Thunder Mountain, not Splash Mountain! On Splash Mountain you ride a log, on Big Thunder Mountain you ride a train. Thank you for the review! ^_^
Had expected a bit more Halloqeen themed episode. Nevertheless great job and congratulations in having such great fans who quickly funded your project.
Oh, nice! Great surprise to see a new vid and on such a fun game, too. I loved this game as a kid. Had no idea there were so many more, though. Can't say I have any interest in whatever the modern take on Tiny Toons is, but this made me nostalgic for the old-school show. Great to see new content! I saw maybe two hours later, AVGN dropped a new video, too. Did you guys plan that? 😄 Great stuff, thank you!
SWEET! Never expected to get a new Irate Gamer episode this Halloween weekend but it’s no doubt a welcome addition to an otherwise alright day.😁 Also congrats on the Kickstarter, man. So glad to see that there are still plenty of fans that enjoyed your work for so long to actually make that possible.👍🏾
Tiny Toon Adventures is my favorite cartoon serif all time. I've had the first NES game since I was a kid. To this day, I still can't get past World 3.
In the words of Buster Bunny & Babs Bunny. Buster: We're tiny. Babs: We're toony. Buster & Babs: We're all a little loony! Great review of the Tiny Toons games. Please do review Super CastleVania IV next for the 30th anniversary of Super CastleVania IV.
