I just bought a new 2018 MacBook Pro and ran into this issue. I had to buy a new usb-c to printer cable to get it to work. THANKS A BUNCH MAN!

I have a DDJ SX3 and followed all the steps upto resources, and I cant find any folder named packages

I didn't have the Resource folder inside the "Contents" folder but followed the steps after that just to see if it would work and It's completely solved. My issue was with the Security Preferences part of the video. Followed those directions and it worked on the first try! Appreciate it brother!!! Using a 2015 MacBook Pro, MacOS Catalina (version 10.15), SX3 controller, Serato Pro

I tried this but also got my security and privacy set to microphone on and it works for me :) I just started using Mojave & since the update, it changed my setting you most allow microphone for DDj Sz to work :)

So much Thanks, last night I was try playing and I can't, because the high Sierra don't recognoize my DDJ SZ...so I had to play whit a windows pc...and it was frustrating....so there is an option where we can select and authorize that pioneer soft run in the Mac book and thats all....grettings from Mexico

It's been 2 days and with my ddj-sx it gives me an error. "Error. Failed to connect audio!!" I'm not sure what to do I tried the going to a previous version of serato and it doesn't work still

With my pioneer sb2 it's working fine but not for my numark nv2. Any advice?

The odd thing is that I bought a new 2018 MacBook Pro and I had to do this with my Roland DJ 808 at least once a month for sound to come out when my Roland is not connected. I wonder why

I was following your instructions and when I clicked the DDJ in the sound preferences your voice came blasting out full tilt. All my channels were potted down so somehow it went straight to the speaker. I did not have the security issue downloading the drived but I did it again anyway. Unfortunately my problem is that it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't When I leave the system on and idle there is no sound when I return. But it has also gone out on my in the middle of djing and I wish i could figure this thing out.
