Looks like they're having a hard time sitting on the wire because it's too loose, you may need to brace the T post you drove into the ground and tighten the cable. Awesome idea for sure. Just might make them a little bit more comfortable with a tight line. 😁

Dove hunting is a blast. Always a good time. Looks like your mock power line is gona work great. I would add one more stake to the center to study it up a bit more. Them dove sure are tasty on the grill

Great idea! Might want to add another pole in the middle so it doesnt blow or move around as much when the doves land on it, they, make them feel more comfortable.

Good idea I’ve used about a 15ft piece of bamboo and plucked all the leaves off with a couple decoys clipped on .worked really well.

Did this two years ago set up a couple mojos on it plus the clip ons works great. Going out tonight to set up mine. I’ll take some film and throw it up on my channel.

Add a few dove decoys to the wire, and it will attract more doves.

Never really dove hunted but I bet bet it’s a blast if you have that many! In our property we don’t really have any doves or any that we see

I've been having problems with them also eating my plots ..I hacked and squirted a tree and found out it was a bad thing on the edge of the plot the doves love to sit in it... I also used my climber and put a heavy wire across the plot and it paybay

I've done that before but used rope. The rope would not support the dove decoys. The decoys would always twist around and hang upside down. Another idea is to take a small tree or a bigger limb and tie it to a t post to make a "dead tree" in your field. Clip some socks on it. Looks like a roost tree.
