It appears Selmer stopped making metal mouthpieces. So you would have to look on the used market, probably eBay would be a good start. make sure it includes the ligature (at least initially) as the mpc is slim. Rovner ligatures are good matches for them but you have to get one for Selmer metal "classic" which I believe is the model 2M for dark ligature.
You mentioned the logos changed but you didn’t go any deeper than that ? What is the difference between the script type face and the uppercase type face ?
It is a different type of emblem. If you look at this older 1970s brochure, you'll see 3 or 4 different emblems. I would just "guess" that at various points when they changed a mpc design, they changed the emblem. The old Classic metals they probably didn't change for a long time so they kept the old emblem. drive.google.com/file/d/1UHeIPbGf649XhUnCbE0kzEHxB6zsrJDC/view?usp=drive_link
You need a Mouthpiece refacing kit, such as what I review here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zzRY2rksljk.html I do plan on getting into making mouthpieces and putting that on video, also I will have many more refacing mouthpiece video in the future. But reeds have to be shaped properly. My next video I'm going to show Vandoren basic measurements and review how the reed (in basics) works with the mouthpieces facing curve. My last couple videos are related to BASICS about mouthpieces ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ufDcrB3Nipo.html but I have older ones that are much more specific. A lot coming in the future.
Many of the logos wore off from use. If you bought it used this is probably the case. There's a lot of accurate fake stuff coming out of China though so one has to be careful.
