I just started playing for the first time, I fully expected to either die immediately or get shit on by veteran players (or both). Some person sat with me for what feels like hours and painstakingly taught me how to make a bacon burger. I started having narcolepsy for no reason and I thought it was just a feature of the game, so they dragged me to the medbay and watched me get a lobotomy. Then they taught me how to bar-tend for a group of kind souls, all the while a loud clown robot stomps along and honks and I really had no idea what was happening and there was a lot of blood but I can say I had a great time. I felt more accomplished making that bacon cheeseburger than any other burg in my life. Thank you generous hissing lizardman

"Each human life was cut shorter than the last." Impressive that in all that panic, he made sure to kill everyone in order of oldest to youngest.

At first, I thought that this was a badly narrated game. Then I realized this was the infamous game spoken of on sleepycast.

My career playing SS13 is over before it even began.

My favorite part about this is that the SLEEPY PEN was meant as a last resort.

The SS13 community raged after he uploaded this video claiming he was just murder boning and going against the rules killing for no reason but, he adhered to the rules. He played the role of the traitor which he was assigned. As an assassin once his cover was blown by the blue haired girl he was free to kill her. It's part of the rules to kill witnesses. After killing his target pretty much in plain sight, his cover is blown and Sec would be after him, not to mention the entire station. It's fairly common for everyone on the station to get "offensively" defensive when a traitor is on the lose and taking matters into their own hands once they've been identified. Hell I remember a chef hunting me down (they were *not* a traitor after a traitor) in maintenance tunnels where they had no business being after I got caught killing my target. Chris was perfectly in the right to go on a murderous crusade after killing his target in plainsight, he was pretty much a dead man because with all of Sec on his ass his survival chances to get away on the shuttle were low and Sec rarely takes prisoners. The SS13 community is just hypocritically exclusive. They don't want people to draw attention to their game so new players come in and "ruin it" but, when their population begins to dwindle they complain that no one is playing. Part of it is BYOND server limit, it's not their fault they are so small and independant so unfortunately the game can't have a huge following.

I played this again after watching this video. I was a tourist. I arrived on the station towards the end of a round, and it was being destroyed by a pulsating blob mutant with a santa hat. It was time to escape, and I ran for the shuttle, but began to hear screams and gore coming from the shuttle. The christmas mutant was in there killing all the survivors and trying to hijack the shuttle. I spied a revolver on the ground, grabbed it, and took aim at the door. Pulling the trigger caused my head to explode though, it was a trap. It was so funny I lost my mind for a brief moment.

5 years later im still playing this fucking game. Nothing else gives me a sweaty adrenaline rush like playing an antagonist on a pixel space station.

This is so immersive. Oney... have you... have you actually murdered and become a ghoul before?

I can just image Chris going, "hey look, I'm a ghoul! Hughlughhaghlah"

Wow you're pretty good at this game Oney. I remember getting traitor in this game and as soon as the round starts I just bolt to the nearest toolbox and smash my targets face with it and then run to the shuttle screaming over coms "XENOMORPHS HELP CALL THE SHUTTLE", I would then hide outside the shuttle in a locker because some scientist almost always tries to blow up the shuttle. EVERY. TIME.

Brilliant. Please do more of these SS13 videos. The community may dislike the influx of incompetent spess men, but it really helps to bring in new players and content in the long run. More players means more slots filled in servers, more coders, spriters, and potentially server ideas and owners. Despite what people say on the subreddit about newbies, people actually love taking them under their wing in-game and teach them how to perform tasks. If anyone needs help understanding the game, my name on steam is Hikurac, and I'd be glad to help! Well, at least once these exams are over.

My first time playing SS13 = i wandered around a bit before being murdered within a minute, then watched as my body was disposed of. Second time playing = started inside a small ship, walked out, floated until exploded in vacuum. 10/10
