@Nitrous Fed Films. I have a stock Losi 22s. If you can provide a list of the settings needed to get the car to run 2.55 to 2.65 seconds on the GNSS please feel free to share. I am also using the stock radio that came with it. Thank you for making this video.
Working on a slash with maclan/drk 6600kv. Wrecked 1st drive with left rear blowout, good times. Grabbed some beadlocks belted pro lines, and gonna give it a shot. My carbon drag slash is running 6500tp on a copperhead 10, rotor ron 4.5 turn drag master hole shot on an xr10, and dr10 on mamba monster 6s and 4400tp. Any tips for drk appreciated. Only time I got today was 3.41 but spinning from jump till blowout.
Nice. 👍. My 22c takes off sideways. I think what's going on is this: 1-6500kv motor (big powerful) 2- need thicker oil in diff to keep it tracking straight. Oil in there now feels weak. 3- traxxas has TSM. LOSI does not have gyro (because it's not like legal )
Hi. My losi 22s does launch sideways unless careful on take off. Running 5000 mah on 2s is so fast . IC5. 2.5 million weight in diff did not help much. I ordered a sky rc stand alone gyro. Will see how it goes when installed
whats the best shock holes to be using front and rear? im slowly creeping up on the suspension just cant quite get it to go straight consistently..also whats a good shock oil weight?
I can hear you doing a burn out before your runs. Are you using carpet? Are you still running a slipper clutch? Besides treating with WD40, is this completely dry tire? My best time is 2.65 but my consistency is way off.
I also went with that Malibu body , which motor and esc is in ur no prep 22s , also what’s another motor, esc, gear ratio etc setup u have tried for the 22s or recommend in a finished kit version Dr10 I just need electronics and spur/pinion gear ratio setup to tryout to run faster then RTR stock Dr10 electronics gear ratios etc I’m new to the Drag racing style any help on electronics, gearing that I can try would help out. Thanks and keep up good work on future and rest of ur videos.
You said you unlimited the front' did you take the internal spacer out of the front? Just picked up a roller and put my DRK 3.5 setup in. On a sealed blacktop track, I'm struggling to make it down. Was running 60/80, gonna try your spring and oil setup. Thanks for the tip. 2.55 is damn fast. Fasted I've seen a stocker go at the track was 2.60. You must have it dailed perfectly.
nice! my buddy just bought one and we are having a heck of a time getting it to launch straight. the hobby shop said to lock up the rear diff but im not sure that the correct way?
I would like some help on how to soften up the suspension to get better hook up. I have gold for 68 Ford F1 169 Camaro out of the box. They are just way too stiff and uncontrollable. I would appreciate any tips. Thank you.
This is pretty impressive. I’ve been watching RC dragracing now for a month on RU-vid and this is something definitely I am seriously interested in. Looking for people who will give me honest information. I need to purchase a car and get started this is obvious. I don’t know whether I should buy a Losi Traxxas or team associated ? Everyone has an opinion. Just wondering your recommendations. Thanks Dan
Associated has a great aftermarket offering. Drag race Concepts makes absolutely everything for it. Traxxas also has great aftermarket offering. The associated and the Traxxas come with very weak Motors though. The Losi comes with a 6500 KV motor that can outrun both of them out of the box. The Losi chassis is aluminum which is very rigid and helps very much to keep the car straight in the chassis not to tweek. There are pros and cons to all of them the Losi is harder to get parts for but not that bad
Depends on what your into losi best i thimit already comes with upgrades i got the yellow truck version also bought rtr dr10 not the kit...its basic an Lotta room for upgrades can't beat losi 60mph right out the box with 3s or 47 to 50 with 2s losi way to go feel free to get back i go way back with rc...still have my original 80's Tamiya frog an blackfoot
@nitrousfedfilms I've been having trouble getting this car to hook up and go strait. I see your running traxxas springs and de tires! Im running reactions and stock shocks and springs. What weight shock oil do you run/recommend? Any help is greatly appreciated!
I just changed over to reactions. The trick is to sand them with 80 grit paper. I install them on my 4x4 slash, pull the trigger and hold the sand paper on them lightly on the surface and the sidewalls. Then treat them with wd40 every night. 100 weight oil in the rear with traxxas punk progressive springs.
Just picked up one on Xmas. Verry quick when it can go straight. Need help with that . All bone stock any special pinion gear suggestions?? Thanks for the help
man i so need help if someone could help or you buddy i would appreciate. 23 pinion with 84 spur and cuts out half track. i feel its low voltage cut off but any thoughts appreciate.
@@brushk27 84/20 spur pinion. 100 weight oil in rear shocks. 32.5 in front. Traxxas pink progressive slash springs. Punch on 4 timing on 8. RevTech 220c battery. DE street outlaw tires clay compound. That's it.
