Iron remover on aluminum? Typically rust doesn’t build on aluminum. Aluminum will oxidize but you should use a more aluminum based product such as aluminum brighter followed by polishing for an even better result!
Yea ! Well you can do that if you like doing them just about every 3 car washes! Lot of work ! And after using WD40 paint won’t stick if the weeks had say painted spokes I learned the hard way and now you ‼️
This way works but I've been using wet sandpaper from 240 to 1400 grits and wow perfect way better than scotch brite imo it takes along time both ways i restored dirtbike rims still working on the back rim right now
polishing aluminium is the stupidest thing we can do, easily get scratch even with the softest towel we can find, best way is paint/anodized/any coating
Nah mate I'm on a budget too I used some of the drill bit style rounded pads and wrapped one on a microfibre cloth and taped it on to use as an applicator pad and finished afterwards with wooden drill bit pads and it looked about the same finish quality as this videos just have to clean the pads heaps during the process
I'm very very new to polishing and thought I atleast did well to get the thing shiny and looking real nice like a mirror I've never done it before and still don't know how to properly as I'm still learning
This was pretty old as of now. The aluminum had a machined surface will small ridges that made it harder to polish. Hence why the center cal looks better.
