Van, thank you so very much for sharing this. I love the idea of using the small plastic container for paint, not only will it keep longer with the lid on it but, it is a great way to mix the paint. Thank you. Van, what is the metal tool with the ball on the end that you use to make the dots? The smaller on is nice also, what is that called and where would you get something like that, both the metal tool and the wooden one with the small metal ball? Great sharing. Thank you again. Jan

Do you seal your carvings with oil before painting and wax after or polyurethane?

I use food coloring when I'm making toys for my grandson.
