Hands down the best Disneyland Paris videos I’ve found. Surprising our girls next Easter and these videos have already given me so much help! Really really great videos and I love your attitude
Have watched this 3 times and it’s SO good. I am packing as we speak and have also added a couple of things to the first aid purse which may be useful to others: 1 sachet of Calpol, 2 rennies and a toothpick!! Thank you Lucie for ALL you videos, not just this one 😀
On our last Walt Disney World trip I added a hip pouch and some additional pouches on those straps. Made a great way to carry charging cables (phone and MB+), snacks, and trading pins.
I've said on the show before, but I always make sure to take a second pair of glasses with me. If you lose those, you're screwed! It can just be an old pair that you leave in your hotel room, but so long as you have something, you're golden. I also usually take an old phone, too. I've had my phone conk out on me THREE TIMES in Disney parks ALONE! Luckily, I managed to eventually revive them each time, but it always leaves me with a feeling of absolute dread when it goes blank on me. I was going to have my own section on the video for this, but I was too busy and I almost got in trouble...
I’m gonna be going in October or November and these vids are really good! Also, you give of such a warm motherly vibe that makes me comfy, keep up the good work 🫰😊
Best bag for me personally is a bag around the waist (fanny pack). No sore back or shoulders and easy to take care of your stuff. Just be sure to keep valuable stuff as much to other side of where the zip open. So if there are people with bad intention, you’ll know it before they got it. And of course, keep the opening at the front side, when standing in a queue, you don’t know what happens behind you. (My father always uses this kind of bags while hiking at his back, but in amusement parks at the front just for that reason.)
I always take 2 phones with me, just to be sure for battery and games. Also having a very big powerbank (long, but thin & largest capacity for airplanes). Furthermore, wallet, some medicines, sun cream and plenty of little stuff. Bottle is in a side pocket of the bag. I don’t want to take food with me, parks are expensive, but I save enough before planning a trip to also pay for some lunch/snacks. My powerbank is around 27k mAh, that’s around 4.5 times charging my main phone😅
@@37DisneyStreet i was walking out of arrivals, looking out the windows and there was a plane with disneyland paris 25th on it (5 years after the fact 😂). a sign don’t you think? 🤔
Where is your ultra-small vlogging camera from, please? I've been looking for one, and if you've used it and found it works well I would like to invest in one too. I'm currently watching all your back catalogue and I love your energy and enthusiasm.
It's a DJI Pocket 2, Kari! Lucie can tell you more about it but just thought I'd catch it in case she misses this message! Check out some RU-vid reviews and see what you think! I know it can be a bit fiddly! Thanks for watching! - H
Ah! I haven't had a play myself - I use my phone for my own videos and it's as good as I could wish for! But I know the face following feature on the DJI is a pain if you leave it on! - H
Can do better than that… Lucie did a video all about the bag here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-akeyP5G807I.html there’s a link to it on Amazon in the description of that bag! - Chris
Sore subject! Lucie's bag ALWAYS gets searched in Disney World and she didn't know why until towards the end of our last trip... When she told me there were SCISSORS in there, I was flabbergasted! So maybe we won't recommend scissors after all! - Hugh
I’ll ask Lucie what she thinks… for me, I’d say get one of those ones that packs into a small bag to save packing space. You can pick up disposable ones online, too - although not as environmentally friendly, you hopefully won’t need to use them!! - Chris
I may not have kids but I AM disabled so I get the basket on my motor scooter mwahaha . Just like people himming and hawing over taking a push chair, if you ever ever feel tired and sore related to your mobility, get a wheelchair. Even if you think you might not need it, even if you don't want to "be too dramatic", your body will thank you for taking a wheelchair and saving yourself 3 full days of marathon standing. The only downside is Disneyland Paris doesn't rent any electric chairs, only crappy manual wheelchairs!
Hiya! Lucie talks about the bag in another video here: The Great Disneybound Bag Hack ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-akeyP5G807I.html the link is in the comments of that video :-) - Chris
@@37DisneyStreet thanks Chris. I visited 10yrs ago and I can't remember what I did with my bag. 🙈 I read that people take them on the rides but I don't really fancy that with the thrill rides.
There's a spot by your feet on every ride, or a little netted pouch in front of you if your bag is small enough. I sometimes grip my bag with my legs but it's unlikely to fly out!
