I am actually thinking of pressing to my string quartet’s to vinyl… But I know there must be a copyright issue because I’m not the one that’s performing my own work… Do you know anything about this?
Thanks for watching, Feona! I don't know all the details, but you would just need to own the composition as well as the recordings. The quartet would be considered "session players" and you would not need their permission nor would you have to pay them a royalty. Feel free to let me know if you have any more questions. -Scott
