The Print Life - HAHAHAHA...def been there. "Babe, what's that green on your fac...oh nevermind, I see it all over your shirt..."(as she softly whispers -dumbass).
So I gotta know. Were these videos for new employees or for the general public? Its sounds like there is some rage building up inside like you might work with your family LOL
You have no idea how much us "rookies" appreciate your videos. Thank you so much for the effort you put into them. You're awesome and thank you thank you thank you!!!
I use the same steps but with household items... dawn dish soap to get all the ink off, bleach for the emulsion, and paint thinner for the for any left over residue, lastly dawn dish soap to degrese and leave to dry. it has worked for me for about 3 years and my mesh last me about 6-8 months before remeshing my frames.
New so understand, a power washer can be very aggressive, I am assuming you are using a weak 1300 psi one but can it harm the screen, how do you replace a screen? I have yet to open the box.
Here in the Philippines, we only use zonrox bleach as a stencil remover. Then rinse it with water using just a spray bottle, but it is better with the pressure washer. If a stencil is still left in the screen, we apply lacquer flo by wiping it using a round rug. This will soften the hardened emulsion and also remove any ghost images left on the screen. I don't know why people are telling everybody that there will be oil on the screen, but in my experience, I haven't noticed. Maybe, the oil will exist for those who are using machines. For safekeeping, I will wipe the screen with lacquer thinner. This is to finalize the reclaiming process of my screens. And then the screens are good as new and are ready for another battle.
At my work, we use an Emulsion Remover, then a chemical called Screen Rejuvenator to help get the ghosting out. Then stage two, we wash it out with screenwash, then degreaser. not sure how much of that is necessary, but by the time we get to the degreaser, there is zero ghosting left.
It's cool watching your videos I've never had to do that to a screen because we use expresscreen and just cut off the screen and throw them away. I can appreciate now how much easier it is to make a screen in less than 10 minutes now.
hello! seeing this from Romania (somewhere in Europe) , just a small question, for washing with pressure, are you using hot water or could water or doesn't matter? The pressure how HARD should be?
Good video. I need to make one for my shop. We use Easyway Supra for the Diptank and then 701 for the Spray. the 701 acts a dehazer and degreaser. When I get in the cleaning zone I can average 1 screen everyone few minutes.
@@matthewperlman7872 I recommend. It's still a chemical solution just with low levels so usually they don't affect your body compared to the non eco friendly. I would ask for test samples from the supplier test test test see what's right for you some eco friendly ones aren't as powerful
Phillip - a little abrasion isn't bad for a screen. Actually helps hold the emulsion a little better. By the time that grit hurts the screen, prolly means you should have had it remeshed already. :)
Hey, love your work! I find your content very helpful for beginners like me. Do you have a tutorial on how you create screen with mesh from scratch? Thanks!
I've owned my shop for 14 years. I do everything myself. No grunts to clean and reclaim lol. Love my job... every aspect from design to print but reclaiming is the one step that feels like actual work.
i thank people like you showing the needing this type of help and i want you to know od has a future for you and you should never take ur heart off of God because you have great things coming your way
Great job. Just subscribe! . All I would say for all rookies is when he washed his hands with the power washer it was not on, just pressure from the water line. It can be very dangerous if you wash your hand with the pressure washing RUNNING
Dope!! Another tip if you're trying to dry them fast. Use the fan, then once they're dry, apply rubbing alcohol to both sides using a rag/shirt (not a napkin) to get all dust/particles off. Dries in 5 minutes.
Hi Cam ! This new serie will absolutely be very helpfull ! Thanks ! Can you tell me what exactly is in the tank and what is the pink stuff degreaser ? That would help me to know if there is an equivalent to these products here in France. Thanks !!
All the way from france! Thank you for watching. The pink stuff is just a dehazer/degreaser, ask you supplier over there for a product that degreaser the mesh and removes staining in the mesh.
Thanks for your answer. Always a pleasure to watch your videos ! We have special degreaser for screen printing in some shops here but they are liquid and not solid like your pink stuff. Maybe the liquid one will do the job but it will certainly be less easier to apply on the mesh.
I prefer the red scub pads, but blue in a pinch the blue one sometime leave little particles on the mesh it washes right of but its annoying, red is better.
Hey there I am having issues burning my screens I have done the steps to burn one coated the screen and placed the image on the the screen take it outside and let the sun expose it for 15 seconds but when I go to wash it out. It either blows out the image or doesn't even wash out. Any tips? I don't have an exposure unit.
Hey Cam, remember the homeless guy you mentioned in one of your recent videos? He could be your screen clean man, - a win win for both he and you. Worth considering. Cheers!
