Hi, I'm 14 years old and I'm thinking about writing my first book. So far I have been writing a lot of stories, sometimes short and sometimes longer, but either way they were only stories. Would you have some advice for me and would you recommend trying to write and publish my own book at that age? I would be extremely grateful ♡♡♡ I'm going to watch this video now!

I think it’s so important for us to explore writing of many kinds; it is this way that we get to know our own style and preferences. If I could I give you any advice, I would say don’t rush to publish; work towards it, and only pursue it when your heart says ‘this is the book.’ It may take time to really know that feeling, but when the book is right, it’s right. Aah! Thank you so much! From 10-14, I wrote MG fantasy (contemporary, low, fantasy.) After that, I transitioned to YA fantasy (both in reading and in writing.)
