Love this card, Carissa. So sweet and delicate...just like a baby. 💗 I think the “hangy down parts” of lower case letters like “y”, “g”, and “p” are called descenders and the “pointy up parts” of letters like “b”, “d”, and “k” are ascenders.

Love it! I don't think I could manage so delicate a card with my peasant fingers, but it is really beautiful!

Love this simple card, Carissa, & thank you for all the tips for die cutting! And yes, the part that hangs down below the baseline from any letter is called a descender. :)

Great tips. Thanks! I wanted to mention too that I rub down the dies with wax paper or you can run a couple of layers of wax paper through the machine with the die. I think this is very helpful! What a sweet card!
