I decided to make a video specific to talking about the letter of recommendation for grad schools (Masters or PhD). I answer a few common questions people asked me like who you should ask for recommendations from, what info is included in the recommendation and the best way I think you should go about asking for that recommendation. This can be a fairly important part of the application so I hope this helps. Enjoy!

Probably one of the best videos on this topic. Would expect nothing less from a leaf ninja. Thank you!

Your videos are very helpful and contain very good tips and adivce. I especially like that you first explain the why of the topic; LoR, research experience, etc. Thank you!

Do you have any advice for those coming from industry? Should I ask for a LOR from my manager (R&D)?

Yes, if you are proud of your accomplishments at your position, the supervisor sound like a great choice.

There are lots of things to try out. If you're looking, you could try asking a professor of a class to see if they are taking students. Sometimes, there are dept announcements with openings available. And yes I agree with the suggestion of talking with your advisor as well if they have any leads.
