Tips on summertime frog fishing

We wreck a bunch of big bass , some over 7 pounds, on the Spro Frog! Lots of action with several doubles! We are working a big Hydrilla flat in about 5 feet of water! We have all the right conditions going for us, calm water, clear water, warm water and an overcast condition with scattered Hydrilla. A perfect frogging for bass scenario! I also explain the right setup for rods, line and hooks!

God I love Roland Martin. His videos are so entertaining...he does a nice job. He's the real deal. I bass fish in Florida annually. He makes me want to go there every week.

I’m in my 40’s and probably caught maybe a dozen or so bass in my life. Always with live minnows as I could never find success with lures. I watched my first Roland Martin RU-vid video in July 2020. In the video he taught me about the Yamamoto Senko stick baits and how to use them. Now I’m a bass catching machine using senkos! Now I’m going to add this frog to my rotation.

I have a 6 to 1 real 6 to 14 pound test I can't figure out what size braid to put on there can you help me? Please please!!

I'd say try 40lb braid to start, should be roughly equivalent to 10lb test mono in diameter, if you're fishing cover try 50lb braid or above, go lower if you're finesse fishing

This camera man sucks. Let’s zoom in on the frog, so we can see the fish hit it. Quit zooming in on them and zoom in on the frog, common sense when filming top water fishing
