Great tips!! I LOVE WOOL APPLIQUE and love your projects!! So glad people are doing more of it and WOOLY WEDNESDAYS are a great new trend. (Although every day is wool day at my house) I used to use heat and bond lite but had issues with pieces falling off so I switched to soft fuse which was GREAT but it isn't available right now so it was suggested to switched to Flexi Fuse and I like it just as much!! Thank you for showing and promoting WOOL❤

Thank you for taking the time to make this video!! I’ve got one simple wool penny rug in process but have several kits waiting in the wings. I had trouble getting needles through the adhesive I used. Then I noticed Lisa Bongean mentioned sheerweight bonding which I’ll use going forward. I was fortunate enough to visit Primitive Gatherings a few months ago and bought their wool appliqué needles. They are great and I am able to pierce the heavier bonding with them. ✂️🪡🧵

I’ve been ‘collecting’ wool kits, patterns, books, wool, all types of supplies for a loooong time now and have been too intimated to start - you have really broken the steps down to where I think I finally have the ‘courage’ to start a small project…..thank you Sweet Girl! Great video. I use SF101 on the back of hand embroidery. I adhere it before tracing the design. It gives the project some substance when stitching and it keeps your knots or threads you may have carried from showing on the front.
