Tips for Mrs. Afton’s dress(if you put one on) they were in the 1980’s, because of that I’d suggest to shy more away from the typical dresses women wore in the 1800’s and early 1900’s

In my au the illusion disks when fully on make the wearer look totally normal and alive, at 50% power they look kinda a combo more so really injured, and because of my au, when fully off they are all souls due to the fires and basically non of the animatronics surviving sorta. I plan to eventually write out an entire thing for my au, also my AU is technically considered a "soft" au, but it's not exactly stereotypical. Mainly they all just have faults and good sides. Also B.V is currently my fave design and I absolutely love him because omfg he looks like an absolute bean! Also for anyone curious, their illusion disks in my au are hidden into items they always wear and are rather well disguised as they can be mistaken for just normal electronics for 2 of them. Also my BV is selectively mute because he is mostly non verbal Autistic. I made this choice due to how he behaves and my own theory crafting.
@GeoDaddy547 that question is a little hard to answer, in my case a soft AU is when William didn't necessarily plan his family's death, or in some cases William being controlled to kill instead of doing it willingly.
for my A!aftons (alive aftons) I use a mix of the 80's with the original designs in fnaf, fluffy hair and yellow tones ironically symbolizing the 80's as a “happy” decade, with William and his wife hiding their faces symbolizing his falsehood and his hypocrisy (in my AU Mrs. Afton used C.C as a comfort since it reminded her of when her husband and Micheal were innocent and kind-hearted kids, and William was negligent and apathetic towards his children, more specifically C.C and Elizabeth)
I know others said this too but.. I recommend searching how the 80s style looked like for reference, they didn't live in the victorian era. It may sound annoying because you will need to search for reference each time you make a design but it really isn't, after some times you'll see how the 80s fashion works. (It doesn't work only for the 80s, i just got it as example)

For my Elizabeth, I only added blood to the waist because she (in my AU) suffocated/died of hunger but in some AU’s she got crushed which is why some other people put blood or a limb missing.
if you look at the game where it supposedly shows cb grabbing elizabeth, it kinda looks like cb grabs her head ?? i know this isnt entirely related but if we're talking abt where she may have been grabbed ... then again, its all up to interpretation, so she may have well suffocated in cb's stomach chamber 😭😭
A few more tips: They all lived in the 80s 90s (if you make past aftons) So a little bit long and fluffy hair for boys and women almost always wore pants there you can search up 80s 90s style be4 baking them. If miachel was 14-16 yrs old when the bite of 83 happened, william is in his 40s now, so DONT MAKE HIM "HOT" He is not. The vid is really good it gave me lots of inspiration, THANK YOU SM!!!
Another tip is to have the women wearing dresses since in the 1800s/1900s it was looked down on to not wear one (though this just depends on your AU timeline or really just how you want them to look)
not really… trousers in the 1980s were really popular. Plus, don’t think you’d dress for the time you were BORN in, think you’d rather dress for the year you are in.

This was super helpful. In my Au, Clara was Killed by William in blind rage then he shoved her into ballora, and she dies in 1980, (When liz is 3 and C.c. (Evan) is 5) so i might take reference from some of these, just not exactly but this helped me with Elizabeth's hairstyle and eyes a LOT tysm (Ik im 1 year late but who cares?)

Tip for Micheal (and William), he is cannonly tall (normal height+ stretched when he d*ed) and William may be a little shorter because of the way he d*ed
one tip for making mrs afton: try to avoid giving her a fancy dress with gloves. this style is very outdated for when the games take place (80s). this is a very common mistake amongst gachatubers and its very stereotypical. instead, look up 80s fashion and do something inspired by that. I usually give her jeans/pants with a sweater, but feel free to do whatever you think fits the 80s!
This tut really helped-! Although most stuff I figure out how to do myself because my au is hella weird. (U don't need 2 read if u don't want to but in my au Micheal and B.V./ Evan have a different mom from Beth (Elizabeth) also some of my designs are reallyyyy off from the cannon designs lol)

here is a tip for william he got fired from hes job when he died so he can just where a shirt and jeans or he can just be malhare the skin clothes acc are black but all the outlines or blood can be purple
I love your aus but when I make my aftons along with the video I will make them 50 percent dead and 50 percent alive cause I think it look cool, but I love your channel and your characters not being rude.
1:24 tbh that’s my William’s hair😆 but it’s really not the same lol. (I dunno why did I watch this- I was trying to see other people’s au, lol- my au is basically not a soft au.. but William is a good father but that won’t change the fact he is a murderer. And yes, he planned his children’s death. But it was for immortality. About Michael.. he either loves and hate William. As for c.c/Caleb(my au) he remembers everything but forgot about his nightmares. He forgave Michael. It was not easy for him to forgive him but he saw that Michael changed. So he decided to forgive him. And Elizabeth isn’t a brat- Elizabeth and Michael have lost 1 leg cuz why not? Mrs. Afton is an angel and Elizabeth’s soul wasn’t freed. But C.C’s soul was freed. I’m still trying to think of something to make my au better... that’s all ig.)
