Chain Chomps are great Enemies in Super Mario Maker. They have a very unique movement pattern and behave really cool if you put them on tracks. In this video we will discuss some cool Tips, Tricks and Ideas with chain chomps in Super Mario Maker!
We will,
create a swinging dog bridge,
trap mario between two huge towers,
play a horrific mini game that starts with a wiggler trigger,
create the most dangerous enemy ever seen,
talk about some smaller mechanics,
take a chain chomp taxi,
and much more!

Fun Fact: Chain Chomps were originally planned for Zelda II: Link's Adventure, but just didn't make it in. They later put chain chomp in "Link's Awakening" as a nod to this.

put 4 giant winged chain chomps in a 2x2 grid on top of a giant winged thwomp that's in a clown car. you can also replace the thwomp and clowncar with an angry wiggler instead.

In the NSMBU format, you can briefly pause your fall with a Ground Pound. You can then immediately cancel the ground pound and do another one, causing you to fall slower than you can even fall with mid-air spins. Also I'm excited to see what you can do with Minecraft.

You didn't talk about Chainchomp manipulation ? You know that you can make their mouvement regular with springs and note blocks. That's by far the most interesting trick I've seen with Chainchomps ! Really good video as always, I love your work. :3

Tick Tock Clock Idea: Use Chain Chomps for the ball at the bottom, and use it again as the arrows

You can also put a sideways spring next to a chain chomp and it will shoot out only to the left or right depending on where the spring is placed. I used that idea in this level if you would like to see it. It is in the last room. supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/8956-0000-023E-7F4F Hint: do not look back/left throughout the level.

Ceave, I was watching a video and I saw a cool chain chomp idea. Put a chain chomp above you on note blocks with items in it and if you put spike platforms on lava or a pit, the chain chomp will create a stage with obstacles, too. I hope you can make another chain chomp video and showcase this idea in a level.
