Great tips but it makes me question why have the fees gone down despite us couriers working out socks 🧦 off 😮? Also why should we have to check identification surely before ordering that is where verification should arise?
Hi Atlanta thank you for sharing this video. I have a short question about tax. I started delivering a few weeks ago and I don't think I'll be earning more than £3,000 by April let’s say 5k max. Should I still pay tax in this case?
You’ll still need to submit a self assessment I believe. If it’s your only income that’s fine, but if it’s a 2nd income, you may still need to pay tax and NI on it
Atlanta, how is your experience with deliverying in Manchester? Do you think it worth deliverying by car? (With keeping in mind, parking for pick-ups) Thank you
Just discovered your channel and have subscribed 😊 just wondering with Uber eats do you need a private hire licence? I can’t seem to apply as just an Uber eats driver!
Watched a few of your vids now. My parents and I have our own business and I was thinking of how to have an extra source of income. Got my Deliveroo short term agreement today and have joined your group on FB :)
Hi Ms really informative can you make one video on doing 2 jobs one as primary (employed) second as a side hustle job (self-employed)how much TAX and NI insurance monthly our yearly you have to pay to HRMC kindly make it Briefly. Thanks!
I think you are not helping the problem about pay rises. Saying you are £20 per hour, and not explaining that is excluding expenses i.e. insurance, fuel! I'm in Crawley and regularly work 12 hour shifts on Just Eat, Uber, Deliveroo and Stuart. I have not ever earned £20 per hour. I signed up with Beelivery and never got on with it, yet on one shift you said you earned £33 on a shift with it, how did you do that being you have to pay for the item then having to claim the money back!
I’m telling people what I earn which is what I earn and I make clear it’s different for everyone and different areas. I have many informative videos explaining everything. You get the money on Beelivery back the same day or next day. I’ve delivered for them for years with no issues.
Earning a decent amount an hour is area dependent. Crawley is a small town therefore obviously you won't earn as much as you would say in places like Manchester and bigger cities. Also it's all about the quality of service, multi-apping is severely neglecting the quality of service than say sticking to working only on one app. As you're taking and jumping orders from one app to the other and with that increases waiting times for the customer. With dedicated to only working just the one app, greatly improves the quality of service from you to the customer as regards the waiting times from when the customer submitted the order to the restaurant to the driver arriving to picking it up to delivering it to the customers destination. I used to regularly earn at least £15 per hour on bicycle, working only on the Deliveroo app, customers didn't have to wait long and that got through via word of mouth which increased more customers ordering from that particular platform. with more customers ordering from a particular platform increases the work load equals to earning more. With multi-apping, you're only thinking about the money, neglecting that quality of service to the customer. As it's a mixed reaction going out to the customer in those that chose to multi-app over money than looking out for the quality of service to the customer. I can rant on and on but don't want to bore you but I will close by saying this, use your own initiative.
