Hi everyone! As an avid lululemon shopper and past employee, these are some of the tips & tricks I've compiled for those who want to be "in the know" when it comes to shopping at lululemon! They did not ask me to make this video, I just wanted to share because I absolutely love the brand and I wish I had known all of this earlier! I hope you find it helpful! I love my lululemon!!! It’s a bit pricy but so worth it! I have a few pairs of the leggings and I will never buy leggings again, I used to spend so much money on leggings because they were cheap and would rip constantly but my lululemon leggings have gone through hell and back and still look brand new and are so incredibly comfortable! They’re definitely worth the investment!!

They really are i have a pear of studio pants my mom kept telling me i was going to hate them bc they are baggy and i hated baggy pants i wore them for the first time and i fell in love with them i love Lululemon and i have a pear of shorts and a couple pears of yoga and running pants

Elise 32 if you want to exercise in them and have them be comfy go for the wunder unders. (I’m 5’1” and 100 pounds and a size 2 with a 25” inseam). If you want to relax in them go for the aligns. Aligns are delicate and soft although if you’re doing squats or something they may not be as opaque.

So, even though I've boughten items online that were final sale, I've expressed being unhappy with a couple items and was encouraged to return it by online reps and had no trouble at all returning in store! So another great aspect of Lululemon! Total customer service A+

Customer service a+ at lulu! In the few times I’ve been to the store the employees have been more than helpful helping me find the right fit, fabric, and style for my leggings for what I wanted to use them for.

Shannon! This was a great video. So informative. I wear pretty much only lulu, and I still learned a bunch (hidden hair tie! Hidden reflective components! As a runner in Colorado, I often end up at a trail and have forgotten a hair tie...far from home). Also the tip that some markdowns are not on an isolated sale rack but scattered throughout....amazing! I did not know that. And I’m in the store at cherry creek all the time! I need to swallow that pride hahaha. Thank you for all your great content.

Thank you so much for this video! I love Lululemon so much and always feel like I never know what to buy so I try on like 50 different things before finding the perfect piece. Hopefully this video will really help me understand to narrow it down to one(maybe two) items every time I go shopping! I also live in Colorado so every time I go to the beautiful 29th street mall, Lululemon is the first place I stop, and the rest of my day is just shopping there. You can return a final sale item. You will just get a gift card instead of a refund. Done it a few weeks ago. It was no problem.

Thank you for this video, I learned a lot more about Lululemon products. I had a bit of a challegne in returning an item online. The free return is done through the US Postal Service, not FedEx-the instructions online say to drop off at the USPS or FedEx. I have not had very good experiences in returning items through the USPS. Fortunately, Lululemon Atheletica emailed me a FedEx label when I called in. The General Education Center associate informed me that many customers would prefer FedEx to be the default. I give props to Lululemon Atheletica for excellent customer service.

Are you from Canada or the US? I’m from Canada and I’ve shopped at and loved lulu for almost twenty years and I think it’s so great that it’s now becoming so popular in the US as well. I love a great Canadian success story☺️ One thing I did find interesting when I was in a store in the US tho is that the prices are the exact same! Like for example a pair of pants that’s 98 dollars CDN is also 98 USD. Which is wild because the American dollar is worth somewhere around 130% of the Canadian dollar. Correct me if I’m wrong but it just seemed wild to me that Americans are paying 30% more than us for identical pants, especially since they’re already quite pricy (but worth it!).

I am from the US! They adjust the prices on some items but not all! I actually loved going up to Canada because it was way cheaper for me to buy up there!

I have 2 pairs of Lululemon leggings, a pair of shorts, and a few tops, and a bralette. They are honestly so worth it. I don't have a load of items from them but they are so nice fitting and look wise. The leggings are so soft and really comfortable and actually good for both winter/fall and also spring going into summer. Honestly if you can afford them go ahead and just get 'em! Btw Im a dancer and they are really nice to go to rehearsal and training in!

I just want to say that you can return items from the we made too much section if they do not work for you. If you contact an online rep, they will arrange for you to mail it back and you get a gift card. Everything at lulu is guaranteed quality or your money back. The policies might be different in store to online. But you can return an in store mark down online! :) edit: just realized you’re from the states so maybe the policies are different. But in Canada you can do what i said above

I didn't know that if you have a pocket, it's meant for running and cardio! My jacket has a pocket on the back and now I know that it's one for running! (It's like a half-zip or something idk but it's the silkiest thing I've ever felt.) Thanks for the info! Edit: Also did not know about the emergency hair tie! I have an Ivivva jacket that I use for skating (I'm an ice skater) and it has that.

Can I wash all my Lululemon items together? Or are there certain fabrics I shouldn't wash with the rest to prevent pilling

Pilling mostly happens in the dryer to my knowledge. Generally wash with like colors, like fabrics (workout wear together). Obviously no denim, zippers or towels would definitely help abrasion or pilling from occurring. I’ve seen advice everywhere to never never dry any items, as the elastic breaks down from heat. A quick Hand washing is always good if you can’t fill up a single wash also.

Thank you for the tips!! I have a question about quality promise on items that have been discontinued. I have a pair of pushing limits tights that are no longer sold but started pilling. Could I take them back to the store?

Every store is different in regards to the quality promise because every situation is totally different, so there is never a guarantee your item will be replaced BUT I think it's always worth a shot to bring items back in that aren't living up to your expectations to see what they can do for you! Exceptions would be if it is a very old item or an item you wore a ton (naturally those will show signs of wear and there is no lifetime guarantee) or if you damaged the item yourself (ripping a hole by tripping and falling for example) because the gear isn't at fault there.

What leggings do you recommend that won’t have any pilling issues? I purchased 2 the Wunder under and align I believe and they both pilled in about a month and I paid a little over 200.00 after taxes I was so bummed out, and I only used them as day to day leggings not for working out 🙁
