Just wanna say that this was very helpful. I always wondered how to keep them close and tight without damaging my wire or dealing with bad gaps in between. Thanks for the tip.
Great tip doode! I found something really interesting when doing this. I did a parallel twisted 28 with 24 and one of my post screws snapped my 24. I had the coil on my drill bit, took it out, and just twisted the 24 off. Anyways, the 24 was perfectly spaced. This might come in handy for anyone looking for a perfect spaced/standard coil
That was a short and SWEET tip video! I will do it like that from now on! I used to get one fused wrap, then do a half wrap round wire, then another half wrap fused...... and so on. Thanks for volunteering your time to the world. I appreciate it, 👊 👊 👊 and I'm sure others in the community like it as well!
Jeremiah Hunter Thanks doode! That's one of the things I am hoping to bring to the table with these "Tip&Trick" video segments. Short, concise information that helps making some of the more difficult things easier!
I always knew that's how you did it brother and to share that with us builders makes you a man among men truly nothing but respect for you bro keep em coming
Wow! Excellent technique and great tutorial. Thanks bro! I'll be using this method from now on. Always had a problem with coils out of plane and really difficult to seat properly! Woot!
Tips & Tricks = great idea! I know it may be boring for you, but tips & tricks and beginner videos would appeal to loads of vapers. Something to think about. Thanks for the vid!
Whwt a grate tip doode ! Thajks for sharing you an inspration to so msny builders me included keep up the hard work im sure i can say thank you and we appreciate it for everyone who finds you an inspration
Nice thanks for the tip when I parallel my coils I would just pull the smaller wire a little more tighter then the other while coiling it up but this makes more sense lol
Guannan Song It won't let me directly reply to your original comment, but I purchased these pliers from my local Michael's Art's & Crafts store. They are nylon tip pliers.
hey i think it would be great if you did a tutorial on how to do some claptons with hight gauge wire like 40 and 50 gauge i've had alot of trouble with this and i think it might be a great video.
iKill4MyLove They last a long time, anywhere between 2-4 months with regular and proper maintenance. I have a video dropping soon on how I clean and maintain my builds, hopefully that will help!
is there a reason you did 6 wraps of the clapton and only 5 of the 24g? just for looks or does it work better. I did the same build today before finding the video, funny actually, but i did 5 wraps of each and the 24g was lighting up way before the clapton no matter what i did
+Matthew Roach The asymmetrical wrapping is for looks and to also decrease the resistance. With this combination parallel, your 24ga is always going to heat up faster than the clapton. We use the term "Staged Heating" for coils like that. I recommend checking out +Twistedmesses video on staged heating. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CzxaTKO_Clo.html
