@@jakobschoning7355 Or just look through the old codex's and find more dinosaur races that fly. They did it for the Vampire Coasts, hopefully they do it for tik tak aswell.
My main problem with tiqtac is that he’s a flc lord with focus on dlc units. While this doesn’t effect me and others who buy dlc day one, it does suck for players without a lot of money or who wait for dlc. At least alith anar came with his own faction unit to make up for the locked units
Melvin Mastishin I know this is a bit late, but I feel that Tiqtac'To really doesn't *NEED* Riperdactls, sure ripers are one of the units he buffs, but I feel that Standard Terradons and the ones with Bolas are both really good units with Tiqtac'To, the extra drop rocks are super fun to use against the AI because it's less savvy then a standard player.
I'm not to familiar with the lore, can someone answer this - Why did Chaos and Dark elves side with each other? I thought Chaos was enemies with everyone?
In the End Times stuff gets weird with the dark elves but the general idea is that Morathi Malekith's mum is and has always been in league with Slaanesh the Chaos God. Because of that the dark elves have at times aligned themselves with Chaos.
Elves have always had chaos cultist, and dark elves have had more than other groups. Morathi, being a slanesh cultists, is somthing they have hinted at, since at least 3. edition. How the Phenix king lost his wife to a keeper of secrets, just after he meet the sexy Morathi, sort of hinted that she planned it.
Tecnically they are enemies, dark elves suffer occasional attacks from the marauders of the north, but as others allready sayd Morathi is a slannesh cultist and Malekith as no problem "allying" with chaos in order to destroy the high elves.
This guy's pretty cool, honestly. I can't help but feel he should be locked behind a tech for Hexoatl or something though, kind of like the legendary pirate lords for the vampire coast.
Any chance that you are going to continue your missing Legendary Lords/Characters video series because there is currently 6 races that you still haven't done yet. I believe the missing ones are Skaven, Dark Elves, High Elves, Tomb Kings, Norsca & Vampire Coast.
Well Vampire Coasts and Norsca can't really have a missing Legendary Lord video because they weren't exactly tabletop factions with army rosters, Wulfrick and Throgg were Chaos Lords that were given a unique Norsca Faction by CA, While Harkon was a Vampire Counts Lord that had options to take unique units based on an article from White Dwarf.
Among other things, I also think there might be a bit of aversion to him being a flying lord because flying units in this game are rather slow and ponderous, unlike their fictional descriptions. I really recommend the Realistic Flight mod--it makes the game much better with regard to flying units; they are actually worth their value, and don't get shot out of the skies as easily.
I still think Ten-zlati would make much more sense since he is just as strong a flying skink but also has a close relationship with Lord Kroak and is known for travelling far from Lustria in service of his Venerable Lord Kroak.
To those trying so hard to act as though nothing CA does should be criticized or put down upon: He's a skink on a Teradon. That's not "unique" at all. The kroxigor-sized albino saurus Gor-Rok or the actual kroxigor Nakai both would have been actually unique. Those of you using this and other excuses as irrationale justification are the type that would try to excuse any bad idea and on the same superficial grounds to boot. Tik-Tak-To is such a marginal non-character that his very name is a joke. This is a HUGE misstep by CA almost as bad as the Cholesteral Whalefin character in the VampCoast dlc(should have been Van Geist), and right on par with Tretch Craventail(over Throt or Thanquol) or Ghorst(over Konrad). Knock it off with the misplaced pretenses that everything CA does should be celebrated. I only hope that with the likes of Thanquol and Malus Darkblade still absent, we can hope to be surprised with 5th LL for core factions with the lore characters to warrant it.
I'd say his choice was decided due to his unique playstyle due to amount of aerial units. They actually play differently compared to other lords. Lastly, there's talk that there's multiple lord packs coming out. So this isn't final
