The tire table is super easy to setup and packs nicely for travel. The extendable leg makes it extra sturdy. The only thing that may not last long is the grip tape may come off. The grip tape (non-slip tape) is on the parts that contact the tire. As a reference, the tires on our little travel trailer are 28" high.

Material: Steel. Expanded metal top. Black powder-coated finish. (Also available in Aluminum)
Table Top Dimensions (usable space):
27" x 23.5" (68.6 x 59.7 cm)
Packed Size: 29" x 23.5" x 3.125" (73.7 x 59.7 x 7.9 cm)
Weight of steel tire table: 12.6 lbs (5.7 kg)
Maximum supported weight is 50 lbs (22.7 kg)
Requires approximately 2-inches clearance between the tire and fender.
If tires are 32" or bigger, flipping over the tire support slider so the bend is downward will allow for more grip on the tire.
Not intended to be used as a step or a seat.

I have contemplated this type of product for a while, but I cannot think of a reason why you would want a stationary EXPENSIVE table over a moveable CHEAP table. What are folks using this table for?

I can so appreciate this question. A quick brainstorming session reveals 4 reasons the tire table may be better than a free-standing, and cheaper table. 1) It's super heavy duty. When handling the tire table that's the thing that is most noticeable. It is durable and it will last. It would be hard to damage it. 2) You don't need level ground for it to be level. 3) It won't blow over or away. 4) It's kinda cool. It's well thought out and well made. It manages to check lots of my gadget-geek brain boxes while still being simple and easy to use. ** We look forward to reading additional answers to your question too!

I agree, personally I don’t like anything that’s attached to the vehicle because you need to detach to go anywhere and the truck obstructs the view which is important to me, same reason I’d never get those tents that go on the roof of the vehicle, interesting also that all these attachments cost way more than free standing gear.

🤩 Ohhh, I love my Tailgater table! I bought one from craigslist for only $5 that was missing the 3 screws. I went to Tailgater's website where I picked up a new set of three for less than $10. Great review and excellent tip on flipping the slide over for larger tires. I personally believe having the leg on the ground vs on the tire provides more stability, although I have "kicked" it a couple times. Perhaps something like a brightly colored pool noodle over the leg to make it more visible? 🤔

You scored! $15 Nicely done. The colorful pool noodle is a nice idea to make the adjustable leg visible. The inevitable collision with that leg is the reason that we will probably rest the leg against the tire. I could paint it some fantastically neon color and still manage to crash into it. That's just me. 🙂

I go for drives in the national forest. Stop set this table up fire up the Solo Stove and cook lunch for two. Great fun from the Jeep !

Ha! Love the 'Remove the table before driving' line. I've always been curious about tire tables and here ya are! Thank you two so very much. Love this, and I like the support leg slide. Definitely getting this - needed and wanted. YOUR SWEET PUP IS SURE GETTING BIG! 💕

It's so funny that they actually say, and need to say to remove the table before driving, in their guide. The support leg is super nice, adding more firm support. If putting tools and other heavy items on the table, that support leg will be extra helpful. So glad to know this is a product of interest. Let us know about your other product curiosities. We may be able to manage a review of some of them. Skadi is getting so big - and quickly. It's been a while since we've had a puppy and I forgot how quickly they grow. Her fur is so soft. It's like snuggling a live plush toy that gives oh so slurpy kisses. 😂
