Due to the economy in Turkey, we are benefiting with those prices. If they were made in the USA they would be close to double in price. They are quality handguns.

I like my Tisas SS45 for $500 much more, this fancy one comes in at $1,000 for a Commander which puts it into Lightly used Colt, Dan Wesson, Springfield, and Kimber prices. Something my Subscribers should consider at 1,000 Bones. 😎🤠👍👨🏻‍🚀🎥👽🥃. B9USA Sr. Take Care.

@@BERETTA9mmUSAthats the only reason i passed on this. I figured for $100 more i could get the Kimber i wanted and i am extremely happy with my Aegis Elite Pro. But theres no denying this gun is gorgeous especially the cuts on the chamber and slide. If this came in about $200 less i would have purchased it for sure.

For the money, these things slay. I bought their full size "service" model last December, and aside from having to tweak the extractor to solve some occasional feeding issues (no big deal), it's been a beast. I'm at 3000ish rounds through it, and I'm totally happy with it.

I own this gun in 9mm and it is without a doubt my favorite, and I own many of the household names (Glock, Beretta, Walther, Sig, etc.) in pistols. I don't understand why they stopped making it.

I like my bantam but had to upgrade some parts. Safety plunger spring to make it more tight, barrel bushing and guide rod. A threaded barrel upgrade is next. Mine seemed a little picky on ammo too. The trigger and reset is ok. Overall a decent gun, accuracy is ok. Glad I got mine for $600! Might have someone go over it. Thanks for the great review!

I've carried a 1911 in .45 ACP for nearly 40 years. I'm very particular about the weapon. This one seems to check all the boxes except for the slide safety. I'll add it to my potential next purchase list and give that slide safety a close feel. Thanks.

I honestly believes SDS and Tisas should have created a separate brand name (marquee) for the Bantam 45 since it's 2x to 3x as pricey as their regular offerings. Think of it like what Lexus is to Toyota or Acura is to Honda. Just create a premium line with its own reputation instead of using the same budget pistol Tisas branding. SDS announced at SHOT Show 2023 that they were bringing in Tisas 1911s with slide cuts and calling it "Night Stalker" which is weird because I thought the PX-9 polymer pistol with slide-cuts was the PX-9 Night Stalker (inspired by Canik putting out the SFX Rival). They could have created a separate brand to rival Staccato but more affordable. It could have composed of double-stack, slide-cut and premium 1911s. SDS and EAA both have weak promotion as well, and Tisas and Girsan need to find a more effective partner like what Canik has with Century Arms. Whereas Century/Canik goes HAM with promoting their new models and give out review samples, the other two do very little of that and some models get no promotion at all. They don't even send out press releases. Even fans of the brand can't keep up with what's coming or already out. Meanwhile, fans know every Canik release months to years in advance.

Question, what changed your opinion on Tisas 1911s from a year ago? I recall you saying on a RELOADED365 video that Tisas 1911s were a "NO GO". Being the fact that this is the 2nd Tisas 1911 review, I'm just curious to know what changed your mind about them?

It seems that the price is achieved with all of the additional machining. A cool looking gun, but for this to go for 1k puts it close in price with Springfield and Sig Sauer 1911s. I don't know, I have a hard time believing in tisas when they can sell a 1911 for under 400.

For that amount of money…. You are looking at this, the Springfield Armory MilSpec, or a couple of the lower cost Kimber 1911 pistols. I own all 3 and they are pretty good and worth your consideration. Respectfully, B9USA Sr.

Get the SS45 Tisas Stainless Government for $500 that I already reviewed. You can find that video about 6 months ago. It represents a better plain Jane Stainless 1911 for $500 less then this fancy commander. I like it better. You can get that Great running 1911 & go on vacation with your very important Girl!!
