For all you non-Australians, this band TISM (This Is Serious Mum) were one of the most ingenious and controversial bands here in the nineties. Check out their other stuff, you probably won't get a lot of the references but it'll be the greatest thing you have ever seen.
I remember seeing this flash animation on Newgrounds as a teenager. That was MANY years ago. I'm 37 now, and this song is still stuck in my head (yes, it's an earworm), and I kinda feel sorry for the little bunny for what he's going through. Oh, and the animation is well done. Kudos to TISM for their hard work. :)
@@mister-monkeymanthis is what I was looking for, I watched Newgrounds as a really young teen ,but albino black sheep was the first thing close to “memes” that I can remember viewing, and nobody I know recognizes it nowadays
Until you're high on drugs dressed as a rabbit in a town far from home at some weird hour in the morning cos then im singing at loud as i can witj no shame
LOL, my job is contaminated waste removal. I have to get dressed up in a protective suit and respirator, then shower out of the zone through a set of decontamination showers, slowly undressing until you exit the decon units completely naked on the other side. I sing this song as loudly as I can in the showers to make my colleagues as uncomfortable as possible. Good times
Same. I saw it on some TV show when I was a teenager… Can't figure out what show. I feel like it must've been on Adult Swim - it was _that_ kind of weird - but nothing's jumping out on the Wikipedia page. Edit: Found it! It was Station X, and it aired on The Detour, not Adult Swim. It technically had a plot, but it was interspersed with clips, usually music videos. This was the only one that I could understand well enough to remember it and look it up later! I'm glad I finally solved this mystery of what the heck this video was and what the heck show I saw it on.
Still, after nearly a decade, my favorite music video of all time. Hands down. There are songs that I like more, but no other video brings out the visceral feelzyness of a tune like this one.
That video goes waaaay back!.... When everyone had crappy internet and you actually had to "download" videos to view them.... (I think I saw that video even before youtube was online.....)
ok, wow, in the crowd sequence at 2:40 onwards, they are all singing the same song, but the animator intentionally offset the mouths of the crowd. they are not a robot crowd all in perfect frame by frame lockstep, but slightly off, as a human crowd would be.
And halfway back the groups are mirrored from the front line. The third from the right in front can be seen as the far left bunny in the third row, complete with reversed 2171, and I believe 3.5 is in the same third row but taller.
Thank goodness it hasn't. Any ad that would be very grown-up would probably play after this video, if it weren't for those rubbish "Adapted Mind" ads - particularly, the "Incentives" ad... (shuddering) "WeLcOmE tO aDaPtEd MiNd, wHeRe MoNsTeRs TeAcH yOu MaTh!"
I remember going to Virgin Fest at Pimlico in the 2000's and was rolling face/starting to peak when this came on the big screen and was just seared into my memories.
Damn son, I haven't seen this video since before youtube. Hell, I swear last time I saw it must have been like 2003. Pretty much exactly how I remember it though.
Holy crap. I first heard this song and saw the video when I was in college (sometime between 07 and 09) and I loved it so much I actually made a doodle referencing it while poking fun at a friend of mine who was a virgin at the time. Found the drawing while scrolling through my old DA account and had to find this again. I'm so glad I did, it's still as awesome as I remember
@@lootwijk The bridge from 1:17 - 1:30 is the same as the bridge in the Screeching Weasel song (begins at 0:53 here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x1aMtrHhiYQ.html)
@@zohrab22 To the best of my ear, it is not the same melodic walk between notes, no. But it works the same way in both songs, it’s the same *kind* of melody.
@@lootwijk If I ever find the time, I'll try to stitch the songs together and figure out once and for all whether the notes are identical. There is one note progression in particular that I have in mind.
Bro I was 10 years old when this came out , and I remember watching it . It’s been this long since I’ve seen it, and the melody has never left . Such an iconic song 😭🤘🏻
The best part about this is that the search bar suggestion is "Everyone else has had more than me bunny" almost as if everyone who searches for this song is too ashamed and embarrassed to call it by its real title.
+bloodraven432 You see him as a rabbit and his body is entire body is red as the number is to large and font shrunk so far that it can't be distinguished.
Southmanpaw No. That's totally incorrect. You might believe that false notion, but it does not have to be that way. In fact, you've probably been made to believe a lie your whole enitre life (along with millions of other young males), that getting inside a womans vagina is the ultimate triumph, and it is not! Okay? Our biological drives can sure put us in alot of stupid situations, if not thought about enough. And laying down with a chick don't mean shit, dude I'm telling you... You stick it in, you pound and you ejaculate... Then what? It doesn't get you anywhere. I'm not saying sex is not pleasurable, but so are many other things.
This song is an Epic that hits on the universal theme of the human condition that we all want to be loved. It does so in a dark, humorous way that makes this song so good. I love it!
Back in high school, I laughed at this video so much. Now that I'm older and leveled up my maturity, I realized how bad it was of me to laugh at this little guy. I think this bunny may have had a girlfriend and they had sex once. But then something bad happened (like she cheated on him) and they broke up. Something like that would totally justify the "Am I not good enough?" Vibes I get from the song. Especially when he goes into the bridge with "All loves have to die, of that there's no help."
It's still a great song. Even if you don't speak English it's great. I laughed but I empathsized with the rabbit... cuz all I wanted was that booty... in my mind now I'm like idk so much other shit comes with the sex... onanism!
I was going through video downloads on an old hard drive and found this video that I’d totally forgotten about for over a decade. Wondered if it was still on RU-vid and here I am.
All of these years, later & this song still makes me laugh... I first heard of this song when I was in high school. I was a Junior in high school & somebody I became good friends with who was a Freshman, at the time told me about this song & showed it to me. Great times...
I saw this on Teletoon's _Station X_ when I was a teen, and it's lived rent-free in my head ever since. The show's whole thing was that it would play clips (usually music videos) in between the actual plot, to illustrate a point a character was making in a discussion. I couldn't really follow the show and didn't recognize any of the clips, so it was like a fever dream. I didn't even know if the clips were from other sources, or if they were made specifically for the show. This was the only one that made enough sense that I could remember it and look it up all these years later. So I've solved two mysteries today: What the heck that show was, and what the heck this video was. I'm glad this turned out to be something that existed on its own, and not something the show just made up.
It would have been funny if the rabbit playing keyboard had moved to the side to show that his number was actually a 9. XD ... But yeah... got a big 0 on my chest... sadness.
