Same as its a private village with public access so it can be closed without the council being involved this ford can be lost easier than all the others

That blue L200(??) brings back memories. Flooded road in north Yorkshire, 2 hours from home, going through steady, a similar vehicle ploughed through, bow wave over my bonnet, soaked the electrics (old fashioned dizzy and rotor). Exhaust underwater, didn't dare risk turning it over. Luckily, getting a lift to nearest village (no phone signal) I got 1/4 mile and luckily happened upon an AA patrol with fully kitted out defender with WARN winch and the lot who were happy to drag me out for a few beer tokens. By which time the dizzy cap was dry, pulled the soggy air filter and all waa well. No thanks to the arse in the pickup.

Man, how many fords do you have in UK? Never saw anything like this in my country. If we had flooded road like this, police would close asap. You couldn't build some bridges, make channels for water and something like that?
remined me not to buy a used car from that neck of the woods. any car passing through that everyday will in a short time surly become a rustomatic you can poke holes in with your finger.
