@@electrikoptik well, that probably applies to many of the cars that go through the deep water, although not all actually make it through. The tall SUV's are probably spared that fate.
That stalled C plate blue defender blocked a Kia SUV a while back when the Kia was thinking should he go or backup. Then the defender just fucks around when that Kia stalled in the water. Such a git
He actually created such a wave at the Kia, I think it would otherwise have made it through, it was on the climb out as teh Landy splashed it and it conked out. If I was that Kia driver I'd have been after them for the costs of a repair.
Once in a while one notices car has features that are not listed in sales brochure. This Peugeot owner is probably happy to notice that his/her car is actually amphibious
As a powerboat instructor I heartily approve of his “steer before gear” helming skills. Whilst the blue Defender is obviously a man who has a lifetime of driving jet skis - no**er on the water with or without wheels.
Impressive to see the little Peugeot make it through, and also lovely to see the pond life in the Blue defender mess up! It's a shame it wasn't more permanent. I've just come from watching the video where he bullies the Kia.
The Peugeot exhaust seemed to be just starting to show steam at 1:17 before going around the corner. Water can lurk in cavities in the bodywork and do its mischief later. These engines are often damaged even if they can still run. Valve stems bent and not seating and con rods bent eventually to fail. Small end bearings also take a whack and more vulnerable than the big end bearings which have the space to be built strongly. Head lifted and the gasket seal compromised. Rarely see a check on the brakes when coming out of the water which is advisable as they usually are not working well after inundation. This generally poor standard of driving and judgement is worrying especially with so many children often running around.
I've got a ford ranger pick up and would never go through that ford...I just can't understand the mentality of some of these 4x4 owners...mind you I've been fixing engines for years and know what damage water can do..these Muppets must have more money than sense...👍👍
well one of them only has 1 leg .. seen it on other videos, it's the one who's license plate says "LAW", that blue defender. guess he didn't learn his lesson (I assume he lost his leg by driving without care).
Pity the comments are disabled on the next video. I wonder if it's got anything to do with the utterly reckless lack of respect to life by the excessive speeding drivers/ vehicles that were hitting the water and risking losing control and sliding into the onlookers???? Still who cares so long as those subs and views keep rolling in eh👍who gives a s### what may happen . Sure as eggs it won't be the person filming?
Fully get this is fun but what these drivers don't realise is they are being filmed committing an offence.. We all slow down for speed camera but at this ford we know cameras are there ready to film the action but it is also filing you breaking the law. I suspect a lot of drivers will regret this soon when Police go through each video clearly showing them breaking the law & especially the video just uploaded (28th Nov) which has comments disabled.
It seems that manufacturers are now taking on board feedback from Rufford Ford and amending their products accordingly. The bow thrusters fitted to the white Peugeot are a perfect example.
I wonder when BMW will start to offer water hoover height as an option? It's interesting to see how the optional BMW indicator pack is plainly just a paid-for configuration setting and not something that has to be physically installed on a BMW. Flood the electronics and the indicators start working? Hmmmm.... Greedy, tricksy car manufacturers.
@@nickryan3417 I think you may be onto something with the BMW indicator lights feature. It would be useful to make them red and green like on a boat, to have them come on automatically when some chump drives his 3 series into this ford. Which they will.
Hahahahaha, ain’t that the same snob in the blue Defender that basically drowned the Kia from two videos ago? Glad to see karma hit em edit: damn, looks like it’s still drivable. _Some_ karma, I guess.
He's in a lot of them. The guys a grade a f'in moron and needs the car taken away from him and crushed. Why that hasn't happened yet with all this video evidence is beyond me. What an utter prick.
YES JUSTICE, and karma. You guys remember the douche with the blue range who made a guy kill his engine? Sweet vengeance 😍 I hope he at least scuffed some rod bearings.
I wonder why RU-vid found it really necessary to disable comments on your forthcoming video part 140 or perhaps they have been given legal advice. I of course refer to the Seat Ibiza driver ND60AMX featured in part 140 who rips through the Rufford ford at some considerable speed then reverses back through the Ford to run through again and in doing so, causing damage to his own vehicle. It is wholly apparent to anyone viewing the forthcoming video (part 140) that he was speeding and driving with malicious intent in a completely reckless and dangerous manner whilst members of the public were walking just feet away. |It doesn't detract that in all probability as a result of the video copies may well be passed to the local constabulary for review. Thats the problem now with the majority of these otherwise excellent and entertaining videos. Are they going too far in highlighting some absolutely appalling and in some instances downright dangerous driving.
When they get it to restart but the steam's pouring out the exhaust like that it means the head gasket's blown and it's an expensive fix. So they aren't getting away for free.
Can I just add a massive thank you to all these people totalling their cars for our entertainment! I have no idea what gives you the impression your family car can operate when submerged, but I for one am glad you do! Keep it up please! 😆😆
What is it with these tools ?, I've got a blue defender 90 and don't feel the need to be a bellend . They are just enabling people to say typical 4x4 etc etc....
I wonder if the white Peugeot gained that bit of traction to get out after taking on a lot of water and sinking slightly. It may have drove away fine but I suspect it'll be wrecked inside.
this channel is mega addictive for some reason I keep coming back. I think it makes me feel like I'm having a good day compared to some of these folks.
HEY KIDS JUST A QUICK HEAD UP if you see an old fella with dirty dreadlocks in a little red car dont take any sweeties from him, he brings his camera to video 'the ford'.... well thats his cover anyway
Based on the video uploaded today 28th Nov (not this one), matter of time till a bad accident. Sad thing is the dangerous folk will spoil it for everyone
Having seen a lot of issues on PSA's because of humidity in electronics I have to tip my hat to this 208. Even when floating kept the engine running and got out with no issues 😮A lot of cars would be dead at this point.
I see that Notts CC have closed the road now. Probably a good thing having seen some of the utter tossers driving through. The 4x4 drivers will have to go back to getting their thrills driving through puddles and going over a grass verge. The excellent videos will live on!
