Just got this watch for under $200 on Amazon, love the look but putting it on is a mission. Little complicated as you said. Pretty happy with it overall :)
I wanted one of these, but it's easily too big for me. Everyone around the office thinks it's fugly. 😂 Hey, 1916 was a very experimental time in wristwatches.
My wrist is the same size as yours and I’d buy one if it was 10mm shorter. Not exactly a surprise but big shame all the same. Thanks for the wrist shot though... just what I was looking for.
@fenwickc2274 yeah, I don't get that. Only the white face one seems to have the sapphire glass listed for it. The other's in the line say mineral. So maybe it was a glitch on tissot's part that was sent to retailers for the listings as that's how I'm seeing it everywhere. Yet the other models all say mineral crystal. So I don't know why one variation of the watch would have sapphire, but the rest not? Anyways, I just got it in the mail from jomashop for $154, and I'm impressed. So much so, that I bought it in black as well upon wearing the white faced one yesterday. For a swiss made watch in an unorthodox style like this under $200 that most will not be wearing around you to set yourself apart from the pack, I think this does the job very well👌🏼😮
I almost have Cartier vibes not even the tank amarican judt Cartier in general which is to say odd but chic and class looking , very interesting for Tissot I feel normally they stay very conservative
Although I have a few expensive automatic and manual wind watches, I'm strictly interested in watches mainly for their unique designs. This is a striking watch. But I have 6 dead watches scattered around already. Swiss Quartz means Shit to me. Swiss battery operated watches are No superior than any $10 watch from a Chinese basement somewhere. Besides, it was the Japanese that created Quartz back inthe 60s almost destroying the mechanical watch industry for good. It took them decades to recover with many Swiss Co's going bust. And for $300, I refuse to believe this watch is entirely made in Switzerland. I hope We All know by now the "Swiss Made" Scam as 50% of the watch can be made in any shit hole place but legally can get a Swiss Made Stamping approval. Bottom line, I wish it was automatic or at least manual. I'd be willing to pay much more. I have Nothing against battery precision watches. I'm just tired of them dying Any moment, Anywhere....and changing those fucking batteries....
Good review, no others out there so thank you. Looks like a cool way to get a frank muller style watch for a lot less from a legit respectable brand. Just wish it was automatic
She wore the same watch on her first Cannes walk. She auctioned it for her charity on Mental Health and now I do happen to own the watch 😉. The belt was completely worn out but I did not feel like replacing it after all it was worn by Deepika Padukone.
