In this video, I review the Titan Fitness H-PND, show a couple of DIY Reverse Hypers / Hip Extension exercises, and show a few hacks that can be performed with the machine. I have purchased 21 products from Titan Fitness and this piece stands at the top of the list. The quality of the machine is exceptional and I find the exercise extremely beneficial for lower back prehab and rehab. In addition, it does a great job of strengthening the posterior chain.

Best machine ever created. Fixed my lower back, now I'm stronger than ever. Makes squatting 10x easier.

I have the westside scout reverse hyper. I love it! Not the best option if you want to go super heavy, but a great option for people with limited space and weaknesses in their posterior chain.

Great points! If I was tight on space, it would be my first option.

Thanks so much! I no longer have this, but if you’re in the market for a reverse hyper, I think this is a good choice.

@@HomeGymHacksandReviews Pondering the Scout Hyper, hence the research. No room for a big boy, and I'm 50/50 at the moment as while I'm sure it's good, I only have so much space (spare bedroom gym) even if it does fold up...

@@GavinBrown I always recommend trying a reverse hyper before buying a reverse hyper. Some people just don’t like them. I’m not a huge fan of the Scout. I sold my HPND and now rely on my Powertec Back Extension for lower back and glute training.

@@HomeGymHacksandReviews Cheers for the advice. Yeah, trying to find one to use is the hard part. Never seen one in a UK gym...

The Netherlands…yeah! Hacky i am confused because i never heard and saw this piece of machine 🤔 i only knowing the hyperextension lower back bench they have in every gym in my country. And i have tried that one a couple of times in the past. Good review by the way 👍

Had to give you a shoutout in the Netherlands! Thank you! Even in the US, this machine is not in most gyms. I’ve worked in 3 different gyms and been a member in countless Gold’s, Anytime Fitness, the Y, my University Gym, etc., and this machine wasn’t in any of those.

I've only seen these in a gym twice. Both were higher end cross fit gyms.
@HomeGymHacksandReviews
@HomeGymHacksandReviews 3 года назад
@@bigx5murf it is pretty rare to see them in traditional fitness centers. I’ve never seen one in a Golds, Anytime Fitness, YMCA, etc. Like you said, they are more common in CrossFit gyms.

I wanted to see the machine being used and to hear your opinion as someone in my county is selling one on Facebook. My opinion is if I can get it for a steal, I will try it and if I don't like it I can resell it and get all my money back plus gas. I have back pain for 30 years so I am curious to try it. Thanks.

I no longer have this machine. If possible, I would try it before you buy it. I have friends who don’t like the exercise and I know other people who swear by it. It’s a big, heavy machine, so it’s not much fun to move, assemble, and disassemble (especially if it’s the deluxe version).

Have you looked into hacking it by trying to add the Rogue foot roller attachment. I have the H-Pnd but want ton attach the foot roller to have more control over the weight. Also Louie says it focuses more on the spinal Erectus.
@HomeGymHacksandReviews
@HomeGymHacksandReviews 3 года назад
I don’t think the Titan can accept the Rogue foot roller attachment and I don’t think I could rig anything up to make the two compatible.

I'm more comfortable doing it one leg at a time. It still works and helps you stretch as well.

I definitely like one leg at-a-time, but for whatever reason, two seems to do a better job for me.

Titan completely copied that machine from the Rogue reverse hyper. When Titan makes a product intentionally to the same thing as the Rogue product, those items end up very heavy duty. They are literally shipping Rogue products to China and saying “make this exactly.” Same steel. Same weld locations. Even the logo is in the exact same spot. The triangle lat handle comes to mind. When Titan designs their own stuff, its made as cheaply as possible. A huge difference between their Rogue clones and their own products. Powertech designs their own equipment, hence the consistency.

Great points. I thought about touching on the legal dispute between the companies relating to this machine, but Coop did a good job of explaining that a while ago.
