I am very familiar with Titan international, a friend of mine and I have bought almost 100 knives from them. We’ve been very fortunate to have met them I got a knife shows and were able to handle and pick what we wanted. The family are really nice people. Feel free to ask me any questions you would like. Have a great day and what a great video you made
Thanks for checking my video Jon!! That's really cool you got to meet the family over at Titan International, I've had the opportunity to speak to them once or twice prior to receiving my knife and they were very friendly informative people but i never met them in person. If i ever did id probably get the knife autographed and id keep it stored in a frame for safe keeping!! I still keep this exact knife in my hunting vest today, though I've only used it once during hunting it is easily the nicest looking knife i have I am very happy with it. Thanks again for dropping the comment hope you have a great week!!
I talked to the manufacturer at a gun show and he used the word we when discussing making the Damascus steel, Their site discusses the steel used and layering for the different knives.
I got a couple Damascus hunting knives from Titan at a gun show. They are very nice. Next time I will get a Chef's knife from them. Also comes with a sheath.
I just bought one at a show for $45. I honestly don't think it's a bad deal. It weighs good, has a full tang. Holds an edge and looks great. There's no way in heck anyone is buying the best steel a knife can be made from for this price lol. I bought it because I thought they were American made. One day I'll make it up to a half face blade but sheesh, those are $600+
You should consider reaching out to them, they are fairly responsive in fact i think one of the owners or team members commented on this video. You should email them and tell them about your experience maybe they will give you a discount on a new knife, i am still very happy with mine. And it looks like other people who posted on this video have had good experiences with them as well. Sorry to hear you have not, give it a try send them an email!
ahhh the knife is currently in my hunting vest up in the attic, the link might say somewhere although i dont think it was made in Pakistan i may be wrong.
Fourth Horseman, i checked their site and although it does not specifically say their knifes are crafted in the US or where they are crafted they have a mailing address in IL, USA. i would assume the knifes are made in the US but again i dont remember for sure and haven't been able to verify 100%... its a good knife though!
