Finally a longer episode! I love this series! One question that got raised at the beginning: how important is flat armor, especially in comparison to other stats like elemental resistances? what is the ratio of armor/resistance/flat health to calculate what item is better overall?
That question, like most things in TQ, really depends. Resistance is almost always better than armor, vitality and physical especially should always take preference. But armor is important. A good rule of thumb to valuing armor is that armor on your chest piece is worth more than legs, arms or helmet. More enemy attacks will target your chest value than the other slots...and ring/amulet/artifact armor is worth 4x the stated value, because it applies to all 4 slots. For a character like mine in the video, I do value armor a little more than usual when compared to physical res, just because it's easier to get higher armor and my phys res is already so low that trying to get it higher is just not worth it often. Physical res is also much better on intelligence characters than armor. If you really want the in depth details, check out Clex Plays on youtube. He has a very good Defences Guide video.
Really enjoying the play though. You got be back into playing the game. I never finished Immortal Throne when I was younger and never got past Act 2 since. I'm around the point this video covers now, just farming the Gray Sisters and Ferryman for a ring, but after about 6 hours no drop, got lots of other stuff and even duplicates but not the thing I'm looking for. Looking forward to the rest of the play through.
@@LughSamildanach I'm playing Dream/Hunting and wanted to pick up the Reflection ring for a bit more resistances, reflection, and Trance of Empathy. Not completely necessary since I plan to get Icescale Head, Chest, and Legs since I already have the gauntlets that give Stone Form. But I figured might as well get it.
I thhink adrenalime would be great in this build, along with only 1 point in the AOE heal (which buffs health regen). The health regen would be massive also counting the Ank of Isis health regen amplification
Great video again. Does the reduction to undead damage set not help here versus hades at all, even in his final form? I am amazed you havent died, I have played though on hardcore with 4 of the curses, and that is dangerous enough lol, i shall have to try all 8 and see how long I last with no chance of getting decent resistances lol
Sure you could definitely use the undead reduction vs Hades second form, but I don't think it's necessary. His first form is far more dangerous, but it only really does vitality damage and we have enough resistance to that already.
Act iv and Ragnarök isn't it kinda dangerous for play in very fast speed you are pretty experienced in TQ and vitality resistance capped which prevents most of one shot moments but still i wouldn't risk it at all electrum could've gone in one blink. Do not get me wrong i just want to see this hardcore playthrough in legendary, looking forward for countination good luck and thank you for informative another video^^
