Titan Quest: Ragnarok (2017) is an action RPG and a welcome expansion to a game created in 2006. Titan Quest is best compared to Grim Dawn, a more recent title, in its mechanics and overall form - the emphasis is on solo progression rather than online trading of items.
Pick up the Ragnarok expansion if you enjoy character building as I believe this release excels at itemization, but first try the Anniversary Edition or play Grim Dawn to see if this style of aRPG is your jam.

Release Date - November 2017.

reflections and retaliations do not ignore the dmg order -> you have to separate the viewpoints who hits whom...meaning whose dmg order-mine or monsters.

I address this, but damage order applies for the monsters after they have taken the reflect (i.e. they can resist, and you can lower their resist to increase reflect damage). However, when your character takes the initial hit "to be reflected", damage order does not apply (i.e. your character can dodge, DA, absorb, etc with no impact on the initial reflected damage taken by the enemy) This was a surprise to me as I expected the damage order to apply in both circumstances. In fact, to balance reflect, it should. But hey, it is OP and fun at the moment!

great guide for reflect build reference! by the way, whats your opinion on reflect and retaliation in arpg games? i mean, are they designed for characters who want easy farming from mobs (especially melee mobs and bosses), or are they designed as supplementary damage to player character's main damage? or do you have another different view about this?

Hey! I've been enjoying your video's. I'm wondering what speed setting you play on? Because I'm pretty sure its faster than the fastest mode in options? I couldn't find a mod to change the speed settings though.. how do you do it? Thanks! and great video's, so helpful!

Thank you, and yes, I play several of my games sped up (mostly solo aRPGs and cRPGs). I don't really want to spread the word on the software I use since it has a pejorative reputation and can break some games and cause people issues. However, I know I will get this Q a lot so I will figure out a way to deal with this conflict for future videos! I will probably just put a cautionary blurb in the video descriptions. We'll see. Other commenters will end up saying what the software is anyway. :P For now, use the keyword "engine" with your other search terms in google.

Stone Form lasts 6 seconds and has a cooldown of 24 secs, then if the char has -80% recharge gear, its cooldown would be 4.8 secs. So I could cast it frequently which mean the char is invincible now. :o

I know it has a flaw, energy burn, etc. Created a char back then, max out secondary resistance and put all points in HP, still nearly invincible even on x10 mod I would say.

Running Dream and Deff and I'm aiming for braceres of atlas for stoneform for bosses. should work like a charm.

Thanks for clearing up all those mechanics. Do you think the Atlantean Relic is worth it? 33% for 200 lightning damage, 33% for stun and 33% for 40 % lufe reduction ... Stun is bad but the other 2 rolls are really good. I use it for my reflector build. What's your take on the relic?

- The charm you mentioned just give you benefit vs melee enemies since REtaliation is works vs melee attacks only. And even vs melee bosses, they have lots of resistance vs % health reduciton, immune to stun. About chance for 200 Lightning retaliation dmg is 17% (for current game version, v2.9 with hotfix 3), so it like 17% for 1356 Lightning Retaliation output per hit at lv 85 ~ 80 lightning dmg each hit vs enemies' melee attack, too poor..

Not sure if you still reply to comments on these, how would you go about prioritizing skills per level for the Juggernaut? Not going on past Normal so I was just wondering how to properly level

... great info again!... appreciate your work and time to do this... its very helpful since there is no proper manual or db about game mechanics ... ... but how the hell stunned enemies do not take the dmg. when you do while stunned? .... or , on second thought, you mean they don't take reflect dmg since they're not attacking?... i guess i lost focus that its a reflect build cause i always saw reflect as secondary effect and cc as most useful bonus ...

If the enemies are stunned then they cannot attack you and thus cannot hurt themselves. This is bad if you rely on killing them within your stone-form. CC is great, absolutely agree, but in this build only the CC you can control. Athena's gives uncontrollable CC.

im have a question, didnt noticed if it was said - u talked about +total dmg, that its not aplaing for reflect and what about such modificators like +dmg to beasts\ghosts\demons and etc, does it affects on reflect?

Yeah this Earth/Storm 100 sec duration shield is annoyingly short, I hope the devs change it into something more like Herbal Remedy's 1 more min duration per level for exemple. Also, I was wondering if an Electrical burn retaliation build was viable, using Albino Spider web charms...

I considered an Albino Spider Web build with a melee prophet. It was a little bit too squishy though. Maybe using another mastery other than Storm with Dream? The retaliate wont be enough by itself I think. Dream can probably compensate for this alone with Phantom Strike and whatnot.

Does someone know if having +10% Total Damage also increases the reflection damage we deal with Icescale?

No, it's not. If you want boost the reflected dmg to enemies, you can using skill or weapon that has reduced resistance effect, it will helps. And if enemies dealing physical dmg, you can usng reduction armor effect to raise their physical reflected dmg too, but not too much, about 66% of reduced armor value in general.

Use the "legitimate Farming" mod on the steam workshop or elsewhere to get more bosses. I use xmax to spawn more mobs. Sometimes I farm on m4ssboss3s(sp), but that is often too dangerous.
