I don't know how many people would find this commercial Politically Incorrect, but it is a very unique and creative commercial I have ever seen. Which ever ad agency made this concept, you guys did an excellent job.
@@shraddhab928 CAN YOU EVEN GUESS WHAT THAT *RANGE* CONSISTS!!! MOREOVER AAPKO YEH FANAK TAK LAGI KI YEH AD EK WATCH KO ADVERTISE YA MARKET KARNA CHAHTI HAI?
@@thedumbospiitropar_27 this ad is not to talk about products, it is for the idea behind the brand. So if you have a woman/ lady in your life, whom you admire, you will go in the showroom of this brand.
ACTUALLY in this advertisement initially when boss was told that Rajat has recommended KIRAN ending with the word OBVIOUS every one was thinking that KIRAN was recommended because KIRAN is a lady and Rajat shares close personal bonding or may be a kind of affair with her and this recommendation is only because of this but when real Kiran enters the room they realize that it is not physical and gender appearance but the effort in Kiran's work that has paid to him as this recommendation..this advertisement is also exposes the views of working societies about a lady in between them when she get promoted ..they think she get promoted because of her beauty or physical and emotional relations with the bosses and not because of her ability and efforts that she has given to her work..her working ability is not recognized as that of him...message is deep but real .. good job
@@AnkitShai well I thought you'd be having that much common sense that while online texting ppl use short words n grammer too.. For example.. We type "how u doing? ". Instead of saying " how are u doing? ".. Does that mean that former person lacks grammar knowledge.. Haha lol moron introspect yourself first before commenting lol... Hope you know what lol means.. Or you might say what's lol it's not basic english lmao🤣🤣
@@AnkitShai BRUH CAN'T YOU JUST UNDERSTAND THAT WHILE TALKING OR EXPRESSING OPINIONS WE NEED NOT BE THAT FORMAL AND WE ALSO MUST KNOW THAT WHEN YOU SAY ITS INCORRECT IT BASICALLY MEANS YOU HAVE ALREADY UNDERSTOOD WHAT SHE WANTED TO SAY!!! AND YOU MUST ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT LANGUAGE IS MEANT FOR COMMUNICATING AND NOT DISAPPROVING OTHERS.
'Kiran' is a unisex name, but the ad confused us by showing Rajat with a lady all the time and we presumed it is Kiran. In the end, like those bosses, we were not expecting a male Kiran. #BreakTheBias
Reading the comments, people are being very dumb and stupid. The boss isn't a lady like some of you pointed out. It's just that when they were told about Kiran they almost immediately started expecting a woman because of the way his and his boss's relationship was talked about, although Kiran is a unisex name. This ad is beautiful and very smartly showed us gender bias at work. It may be subtle but it's still there. Well done Titan.
+Prapti Buragohain Right , Prapti ,, This Ad Have Very Powerful Meaning , Some Guys Are Saying That This Ad Is Stupid Ad , Because They Didn't Understand The Meaning Of That Ad , Its Not Them Fault . The Fault of Them Thinking ,,,, Happy Woman's day Prapti
+Prapti Buragohain can we address gender bias without looking at gender? On a larger scale, Gender Bias most generally refers to women only. Most of the Urban males are up for women empowerment. But off late, women empowerment has become less of women empowerment and more of male bashing. Urban women of 2016 is more empowered when compared urban women of 1947. It's time people concentrate on the rural side. these ads have become mere entertainment and have no meaning in the rural sense where most of the people do not even follow these ads. They are still stuck in 1947. Urban women of India have a problem too, they think women empowerment means pretending to be man and doing things man does. What they do not understand is, genitals does not decide what one can and cannot do. You do not have to pretend of being a man to feel empowered.
+yakesha s Nobody needs to pretend to be a man to BE empowered. Remember, feeling empowered is very different from actually BEING empowered. And it looks like you don't have a good enough grasp of the atrocities women face in urban areas. You seem to think that women in rural areas need more of our efforts.. but you are wrong; women everywhere need our efforts.... they need a whole lot more effort than we are actually putting in. Pretending to be a man to feel empowered is quite stupid actually,.. women don't want to be men.. women only want to be socially, economically, politically, and psychologically equal. If you haven't understood this already, let me break it down for you... "Different but Equal" is actually a thing. If women wanted to be men, we won't be different yet equal (let's face it, we are different by nature) but we would be clones (exact copies) and you wouldn't have the need to strive for equality in a situation where there is no difference that sparks inequality. So in short, the issues of both urban and rural women are equally important, women don't want to be men (that notion is beyond ridiculous), and people like you should start supporting a good cause rather than passively (underhandedly) ridiculing it..
+Deena Purushothaman you got little too ahead by saying I was ridiculing these efforts. All I am saying is urban women of 2016 find themselves in a better place in the society than the 90's and you cannot deny that. These ads do not relate to rural women who are the most neglected.
All the scenes in which the boss is with a woman are actually what those men were thinking in their minds while listening to Rajat and Kiran's rapport..
Nice-It is the time to change the thinking and support each other positively rather then showing someone lesser .Women diserves to treated the same and men also deserves equal respect 😊
Actually when he starts talking about kiran they imagine kiran as a women and the women and boss were their imagination, when he said they are always together they started thinking she has her success because she is close to the boss like in a relation or something but when they saw it was a boy they had this smile that said ooh it's a boy so it's just work relation between him and his boss but if it was a girl they would have thought that she got her success because of some underhand tactics.
Seeing the comment section i doubt how many understand Nolan's films as they are filled with Subtlity. Anyways the ad shows how we think about women's success. Even if someone closes eyes you will start thinking like that. When Kiran is revealed as a man you suddenly start changing your mind and be like... Oh it is a man so yeah it is great,so all that you were thinking were wrong... But at same time you are forced to think then why you are not appreciating about Kiran as a girl the same way as Kiran as a boy. That is the subtle message behind it. 🙂
Basically thats the old mentality and useless way of determining the quality of employees, if you think it practically it means, the person is NOT efficient in his work and so he/she has to come earlier and leave late for the same task which others finish on time.
I came to see this ad after Alia's Bold Edition ad. And honestly huge respect to the makers of this advertisement. In that Alia's ad they just crossed a thin layer...
I have seen it twice to get the hidden message. Actually those people are thinking that Kiran was a female that's why she got promoted. But actually he was a male. Btw This is really great :)
***** what is wrong with that? Unless we empower the marginalized and talk about their abilities how can we achieve equality for them...gender bias and discrimination is real....and for that we need adverts like these! I know all of them are not precise or realistic but some are really well thought!
This ad is clearly for women for not to see them just as a pretty face, but is there anything to celebrate women's day?? Even the Lady is shocked Seeing Kiran. I think this ad's credit totaly goes to Rajat & that HR person explaining everything. So Happy Men's Day 2 you both in advance.
This ad is actually nice. It is not about empowerment, but about not assuming another person's character as cheap by default. In today's world, the problem is the opposite. Men get a raw deal where it matters (particularly in the dating market because whatever they bring to the table (protection, attention, provision) is not valued by most women as they already have it for free). I am calling off my support for women empowerment rhetoric because women have got all they need (needs and wants are different) and men are being treated with disrespect overall in the civilized society. We reached a point of negative returns.
Rajat and Kiran(a unisex name)are in a team and Rajat recommends Kiran for promotion because of hard work, dedication, sincerity. Both as a team come early to work and leave late, and even work during weekends to complete projects when the need arise. The members of the board are excited to meet Kiran, who is always there with Rajat at all times, but their excitement soon grows cold when they learn it's a man much in contrast to their expectation. So you get the slogan at the end...
Media is the most deceptive portrayer, first you show us what u want us to think (Showing us kiran is a Woman) and then make us believe that we were wrong for thinking that way (Well thats what you wanted out of us). Neglecting the fact that this scenario does happens in many cases (Favoritism) and you cannot negate this by targeting the general perception that people have for such cases.
Yup correct. Okay I can believe that Kiran is a boy but how the hell is Rajat a girl? Or is she not Rajat but someone else. Then in that case why did you show that lady's video with Kiran in the first place?
@@mydearfriend007 This advertisement is from the bosses perspective. When that person was describing Kiran the boss thought it was a girl (cause Rajat is a guy) and he (the boss) was visualising all the things the other guy said.
