@@THEG12EG that’s is where I bought the extension hose. I just searched Titan vac hose and lots cam up. Might also be worth looking at Titan hoses on amazon
I'm currently looking to buy an extension hose for my titan 774 but I'm concerned because there is little clips on the 774 to keep the hose connected to the unit but now I'm guessing that will stop a new extension hose fitting to the unit? Have I got this wrong?
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer thanks for replying, I know I can get one like you showed on the video that goes into the existing hose but i was trying to avoid that because as you know the original hose is poor quality and very rigid, I'm concerned it would split leaving the new hose useless, did your old hose hold up ok when used with the extension hose? Also where did you buy if from?
Simon Attwood hi Simon. No it hasn’t lost suction but it didn’t deliver the power I wanted as a blower with the extension on. I have since bought a dedicated dewalt cordless blower. I think I covered it on my 3 month update on my coated wheels. The extension is extremely useful for vacuuming as you can leave the appliance on one side of the car and not drag an extension lead around
Hi Jason, yes I have been very pleased with it. The extension hose has been great for getting around the car without having to drag the vacuum. However its not so good for blowing as it looses force as the hose expands. Thanks for supporting👍
I've been using the Guild wet and dry vacuum which also blows. It will suck anything what will fit down its pipe. My only worry is just incase theres a screw stuck in the pipe when I switch to the blower function. I also have a metrovac master blaster ( blower ) which blows about the same as the Guild.
