It's been many years since I last played a good campaign in a FPS game, Titanfall 2 is my all time favorite so far, the feels was strong for BT and pilot Jack Cooper, merry Christmas everyone :)

Jeez Moy, those transitions were beautiful. So jealous of your skillz Also glad to see you were responsible for those two scenes with Blisk, easily my two favorite parts of the whole campaign besides the time stop diorama.

I wanna work at Respawn one day!

it really depends on the complexity of the shot. How close the camera is to the characters? is there a lot of contact points? is there a lot of prop interactions? is there a lot of facial work? what's the length? All these things play a huge part in the time it takes to execute but in general terms, animation is a SLOOOOOW process!

I didn't realise that you worked at Respawn! That's so cool! Really loved your work, in fact my favourite scene in the whole game is the one where the 6-4 shoot through the window and call out targets. Didn't realise you were a big part of that :D

the animation reals are so cool, im a fan of Titanfall 2 so its like going back and looking and looking at all of the work the animators went through to make all of the awesome stuff that you see in titanfall 2

These animations are awesome; I especially love Richter's intro (he is just such a fun character) and that little maneuver Blisk does to dodge BT's last resort. Also, I somehow never noticed that one of Gate's crew is a holo pilot - holo is my favorite, it's my main in multiplayer!Thanks for posting stuff like this, Respawn is my favorite developer and it's really nice that you guys put out content like this on the side. I've been a fan of the team since the Call of Duty/Infinity Ward days and it's been awesome to follow your progress and your success! Keep it up!!

the interrigation scene was beautifully done

I had no idea you worked on this! These were the most entertaining and memorable bits in my opinion. Great work, you guys wound up making the best single player of any first person shooter in a long while.

I love what you did with Blisk's evasive maneuver. Definitely an appreciated little glimpse of what he can do. It's cool to see that he's maybe not all bark.

I always loved the animation where Blisk steps out of his Titan to give you that card. The entire game he tries to kill you because you're interfering with his contract, but as soon as the contract is paid he's like: "Meh, not my problem anymore" and gives you that card as recognition for your skill. Always thought that probably is what made him such a, in my opinion, great character. No moral story or who is right or wrong. As long as the job gets done and he gets paid.

I thought something was up, but then i realized that its probably because you had your POV at 70 while I play at 110. It made the BT death so much more impactful.

if I could only play this game more! Titanfall 1 had me hooked. Titanfall 2 has me hook line and sinker and still craving more with a smile. Your series... I need that Marvin watch!

The ending scene with blitz really makes me like him, even though he has killed countless people. He has some amount of morals but you have to earn his respect to see it.

i get this video is a couple months old but that part where blisk walks on top of your titan is so detailed and well done, the sound and miniscule animation when he taps on it feels so realistic and immersive. Maybe it seems too small a detail to be gushing over i just think that part of the scene was really well done lol

Loved the campaign. I hope you guys make titanfall into an anthology series that follows new characters with each installment. It would be an interesting way of exploring the titanfall universe. Not that I don't like Cooper, I just think that his story is over for the moment

I always feel bad for those two IMC grunts who try to escape your damaged titan. Like when one falls over the other one tries to help him up and move him out the way just to get himself blown up. RIP grunts

Use those great alternate character models and helmets from the pilots in the campaign and create purchasable pilot character customization, I'll buy it all up and I'm sure tons of other people will to. Great job on the game, keep up the good work with your future content.

Very entertaining reel. Weren't these scenes firstly motion captured and you had to clean them up or did you have to fully animate human characters?

it must be said that in the alpha gameplay there are some nice pilot skins and helmets that never made it to the final game (viper, old gates and some guys in the multiplayer trailer)

I would love more stuff like this and behinde the scenes stuff.. if you pat Vince on his back i am sure he will let you XD

Typically, I develop connections to my in game characters. And when one of these characters die, I avenge them. When bt was killed(or destroyed, however you wanna look at it) I went full try hard. Literally, nothing could touch me, cause I was just so angry about him dying. It’s the only time I’ve had a death in a game influence me to do better at said game.
