​@@MxBoY-xg2yd in the titanfall 2 cinematic trailer you see a militia pilot I assume its latismoa using 3 different abilities sonar, grapple, and holo which proves you don't have to be a specific pilot to use specific abilities except some exceptions such as stim pilots and phase shift pilots abilities that are designed for simulacrums and machines.

Another explanation is that the pilot class uniforms are for player recognition in PvP, meaning their abilities and gear are not tied to their outfit. An example of this is Jack Cooper as he has a Grapple Pilot uniform and helmet yet can only cloak and not grapple.

logically would not make sense but that's just apex lore and a fuck ton of plot armor and titanfall fans receive 99% fatal brain damage or that pilot was probably playing on masters difficulty.

@@Lone_Wandering0 sure, but that's more than the other legends can say. pilots are fucking elite, a normal person who hasn't undergone pilot training couldn't kill one. someone who's pilot training was interrupted still probably couldn't kill one, especially without a proper helmet and jumpkit, but at least they'd have a fighting chance.

Stim pilots were people in tf1, and pretty much all you need is a glove/gauntlet to use phase as Jack Cooper only had a little glove & Wraith has a much more heavily designed glove. I know Jack didn't necessarily jump into the void, but passing through it between two set of time. I think the simulacrums & such are mostly designed to be able to do what people do. Like how in Destiny Exo's have a hefty lore behind what they are and go through physically/mentally, but when the lore meets the gameplay & writing, they're generally the same as their more 'human' counterparts. Especially when it comes to the player models sharing the same exact rigs & animations lolol. Apex is THE game to very much flesh out simulacrums (and the likes of robots), like how Rev & Ash are.

@@Dragosmom. after gridiron energy surge pretty much all tech was fried including titans. The syndicate had prepared and had some crappy tech so when the surge hit they grew to power cars cause they still had some tech.

Yes, even in the intro to the campaign Cooper, or maybe Lastimosa, are seen using multiple tacticals, and in TF1 you didn't need to be a robot to use stim, so the robots are just a bonus more or less.

in Titan fall 2 stim is a robot pilot but in Titan fall 1 stim is a regular human pilot

@Omega-Omi Sometimes, auto titans have a miss chance, so it’s funny, sometimes they miss you right in front of them, and other times they kill you across the map while you’re in stim and you didn’t even know they were there lmao.

Realistically, they should be able to. Take away their jump pack and armor, that’s all a pilot is. Especially since Bangalore was an especially skilled soldier.

Apex lore brings more life to the titanfall universe as a whole, but in turn then end up retconning titanfall Lore, mainly nerfing pilots and undermining them as a whole as contrary to popular opinion from most apex fans pilots aren't just "highly skilled / trained grunts with jump kits". Pilots aren't demi gods they can be killed even by a mere grunt and by legends even though legends arent exactly on the same level as a pilot as they participate in a blood sport rather than actually being battle-tested in a full out war. However i have a problem with the way respawn portrayed this, they didnt even bother to show bangalore in a pilot gauntlet or a simulation doing some form of pilot training, but she gets bodied by a militia pilot in the midst of battle on a warzone surrounded by smoke and chaos and survives and wakes up on a wrecked craft injured but suddenly encounters an imc pilot she who is injured and her brother who is injured somehow managed to restrain and finish off a fully geared experienced pilot, this is something I have a big problem with. I'd also like to note that I've been following the titanfall games since the 1st day release of titanfall 1, even until the 1st day release of apex.

​@Adminium21 Vanguard class titans are also the most OP titans they use 5 titan batteries rather than the standard 2 and have access to all titan kits from titanfall 2, there's also the fact that Cooper was trained by a veteran SRS pilot who is considered one of the best of the best within the SRS, also cooper was considered to be one of a kind as he is remarked by lastimosa as being talented, just adding on to your comment.

The idea is that the smoke glitches out the cloak. And she presumably started carrying a smoke grenade system after figuring that out. Even tho I don't think it does anything to Mirage's cloak in game. I could be wrong.

only simulacrum pilots can use phase shift and stim interchangebly due to being machines stims are kinda drugs to soldiers in the frontier as you can see in octane hence why stim and phase shift pilots are machines because they arent affected by side effects
