How about a mod where you get a purple hoodie for your pilot 😅. Better yet, a purple army faction with Iniquity doing custom voice lines. Crush a Titan with your titanfall, "Welcome to the God damn show!"
Apex got a big meta shake up this season, but imo the flatline remains one of the best weapons in the game with a great time to kill and being effective at close, medium and long range. I love it in titanfall aswell
Really glad you were willing to do a little research. Most people would just brush it off, but as someone who’s a massive fan of the franchise this character mod’s from it means a lot.
V-7K-Flatline is still really good in apex but not as fast ttk as TF. It doesn’t have a horizontal kick so it goes up which defeats the whole purpose of a FLAT,LINE but whatever

Am pretty sure it's clientside only, so it only affects the players who download the model. Those who dont will only see vanilla models (just like in CS Source and other Source engine games and model swaps). In my case this makes me excited because it means i might someday get classic Titanfall pilots and grunts from the first game and blot out all the glowy weapon and player skins (i was more a fan of TF1's more grounded sci-fi aesthetic) This also means that i dont have to worry about serverside rumblings, needing to join a very specific server and/or people calling me a killjoy for wanting the game to look a little less flashy.

Client side mods like this for multiplayer games are fairly common since the only thing that changes is what the player sees via substituting original files with new files using the same model type, rig/animation data and file naming convention. While i understand the pivot to more flashy designs in TF2 and especially for the community addons for flashy skins and whatnot, i was never really a personal fan myself. Thankfully the modding team at Northstar finding out how to import and substitute new models means i can relive bits of Titanfall 1 in Titanfall 2, but with the added mechanics. Am waiting for them to port the TF1 maps and i'll be set for life lol.

It's just the weird bug where you leave multiplayer randomly and it says "server has been timed out" or something close to it. If we could do it Titanfall 2 can live for way many years and could be as popular as apex legend.
I’ve said this in another ytbers video about new updates to the Northstar client and I’ll say it here. With this we can now finally make BT-7274 every titan class in the game and pretend he didn’t die.
Hear me out, Attrition but backwards. Both teams starts at max points and kills deduct your team points or (tickets) players start in titans and the map starts at final phase npc spawns (so all the way up to reapers already spawning) when a team runs out of tickets you get one life like normal and escape to dropship. Its called Attrition afterall so I always thought this would make more sense. It combines both my fav game modes; Attrition and Last Titan Standing
It is possible to change crosshairs by manually changing the name of the crosshairs in the TF2 files. Used it to change the Wingman Elite crosshair into the sonar blade crosshair, super helpful learning the weapon.
I wonder if you can do the same with titans if so can make scorch look like the the colossal titan from AOT or make ronin the attack titans legion the beast or armor
The Flatline in Apex isn’t a bad weapon its just weird compared to the TF version. The Apex version actually used to kill 2 frames faster than the R-301 but it’s damage was nerfed by one point a while back so that it’s TTK is roughly the same as the 301. So whichever one you use is up to preference.

Imma be honest this week I’ve been getting mad jealous for pc titanfall players. I play titanfall fall of Xbox so I don’t get to play with the north star mod, and before I wasn’t that upset about it, but now I’m just mad. North star for Xbox better be released soon.
Flatline skin is cool. I love apex. But I love titanfall more. If I had millions I’d say he Nic, hey Z, hey doc, take my money, play with iniquity just one stream. Boom, 100’000 players. Titanfall takes off, respawn sees sales. EA gives permission for EA to add micro transactions, they drop the maps and skins they never released for the game, make and add more. We live happily ever after.
Imagine being a Super Soldier with decades of training and have a colossal 20 ft Bipedal armored war machine as your companion, just to be killed by an Anime girl that got modded into your universe by a Video game fanboy.
I wish I could play tf2 on north star, but it seems every game I get in I'm playing against iniquity and other cracked players and i can't get any kills

I tried to play Northstar a while back. Kept getting annoyed by people using anti-titan weapons in PvP while I was wall running. Made me not want to play again. Are there PvP servers that have them disabled?
