I wouldn't mind it either if the executions wouldn't take so long. It's a shitty feeling standing right next to your teammate seeing them getting shrekt and you can't do anything for the next 7 seconds. 3:40 - 3:47

I wouod rather that you can take damage but not get killed. if your out of position and do an execute with 2 or 3 titans around thats your fault and should take penalty.

SO GOOD! Almost as good as Legion's but nothing can possibly top that :D

Am I the only one who dislikes the upcoming lack of invincibility on executions? You aren't allowed to move during it and I GUESS it's kind of like teabagging and how it's a disrespect move that makes you vulnerable, but I didn't want to see them like that. I loved the idea of getting in close to assert dominance over the enemy without it being mean spirited but now that it makes you vulnerable for doing so, it makes it seem like there needs to be a downside to acting that way, thus creating the idea that it's something bad that you're doing. Also, it's kind of completely unfair against Ronin because his entire core ability revolved around getting in close and meleeing, so does that mean he'll be vulnerable if the enemy pilot doesn't eject fast enough or have the correct abilities enabled so they eject before the Titan can be executed? This isn't a huge complaint about the game, but I guess I just felt like the idea of outplaying the opponent to such an extend that an execution becomes possible seemed like something that should be rewarded with the possibility of teammates coming to your aid in outnumbered situations(especially with Ronin, who has very low defense and could definitely use the potential for allies to come to his aid if he gets a kill with his sword core. That was something I saw as an intentional part of his core ability, not a mistake that needed to be corrected), not punished by making you a sitting duck that can't do anything to run away. It won't really have any real impact on the game or anything, but I really enjoyed executions and it's sad to see them nerfed so heavily.

That execution was AMAZING. I saw your comment before I finished the video and I assumed it was Legion's, which I had already seen before and was obviously my favorite, but that Tone was unbelievable. I'd never seen Tone's execution before and that just completely shocked me with the way they specifically grabbed the pilot. They did such a good job with all of these executions.

Don't underrate it -- the ammo you've got in there is all you need. The core ability also charges insanely fast... if you're ever in a situation where you really need to keep firing, just pop your core ability. Instant, infinite ammo! So solid.

I think it is more for balancing purposes

Now that you bring that up, i'm not surprised. To my knowledge, i don't think your titan's sheild regenerates like it did in the original Titanfall

The 'flare' mechanic would only work on Tone cuz none of the other Titans use lock on projectiles, and in the original Titanfall there was 'Electric Smoke' which broke enemies visual and lock ons at u

Also Ronin has the 'Sword Block' and Northstar technically has no defensive abilities (unless u call the Tether Mines one)

Strizer My favourite thing to do as Ronin is to destroy Tones. Just dash in, shot gun, phase reload, shotgun, 2 melees, execution!

I dont dislike any titan besides tone. My main is legion, but ive played ronin and scorch as well. People that play tone only like him for the tracking missles..

Aye Lmao, Sword core block or a phase dash...Choices choices. Seriously a Ronin is just built to negate everything a tone can throw at you.

I only started playing TF a month ago and really enjoy it (second attempt). For me it is always the challenge, I am older (72) and have been gaming since 1979 - man have things changed and that is what excites me so much about the game. I have played COD and BF since the beginning and am not enjoying it as much anymore. The first FPS I played was on my PC and it was called Mech Warrior, I played with some friends and my brother-in-law and nephew, we really enjoyed that game and I see some similarities to Titanfall. It is not the same but has some of the same elements in it; obviously much enhanced in every aspect since those early days. When TF first game out I gave it a try and didn't care for it (just couldn't figure it out) so after a week or two sold it. When TF2 did the Tech Test I got on line for both weekends and on both consoles; pre-ordered it and bought a used copy of TF (only $9.00) and started practicing. Needless to say at my age and with the arthritis in my very small hands I am not too good but I still play daily and have gotten to Gen 4. What helps is I use Cinch controllers. Don't know if that actually addresses your question but the truth is I just love gaming and get excited about playing; now that I am retired and after many years on my own I can play all I want. Keep up the good work and I look forward to learning more from your videos. It is through your efforts and some of the other RU-vidrs that I have been able to improve and get more enjoyment from the game.

phsyco squid just yesterday I started up an ion core and some dumb teammate with no health runs in and gets executed, completely cancelling my core ability. there's no in game reason for an execute making you immortal, it just does.

Forest Bahamut Yes and No. I dont like leaving a Titan on Auto pilot so Assault Chip isnt that good. even with the Chip the AI sometimes makes poor decissions compared to an actual player.

Actually, Ronin is excellent at Countering Legion if they Bum rush him. Legion's minigun takes time to spin up and the only real defense he has at an up-close and personal Ronin is his short range powershot. Especially if Ronin has Sword core. That shit's a nightmare.

Solar Flare Really? MAybe I just need to use Ronin more.. Ive been using him aggresively but he is more of a hit and run kind of character. Plus I never really thoughr Ronin was a scary titan lol cuz I play him. I do know there is a glitch with his core ability where if you are too close and try to swing your sword you will actually miss...

Michael Peters I was just in a match of LTS. Surprisingly enough, A ronin came along while a pilot was trying to rodeo me. Emptied his gun into my back and slashed me, taking around half my health.

Michael Peters Wrong, 3 games in a row, GAMES, not rounds, with 2 different Legions every time, and we lost.

Michael Peters And Ronin is AMAZING. Best used for ambushes. Again, Dash in, empty shot gun, phase while reloading, empty shot gun, 2 or 3 melees, execution.

Accurately, not too far... Boomtown bombed out flag base to the end of the street towards mid is about as far as you can do accurately vs titans, any farther and I'd consider flipping to long range.

Short range mode's burst fire (that uses the one bullet, I forget the ability name) is amazingly strong as an anti pilot ability. As long as they are in range and you get them within the large targeting reticle it will be an instant kill and multi-kill at that. Its great for clearing waves in bounty hunt as well or for when pilots are peaking on rooftops to snipe your titan. doesn't matter how much of them is peaking, even a sliver and they will die when you fire.

Ronin done right is the most self sacrificial titan in the game. The true purpose is to get in the middle of the enemy titans and make them focus on you while you take the heat in sword block. Giving everyone else free reign to lay into all of them.

You have to switch firing modes on the gun. It's the same button you use to throw a barrel as scorch, or shoot the sonar pulse as tone.

FrothyOmen O, though I am fairly certain it locks the powershot. Whenever I use the smartcore with powershot I get hitmarkers with and see quite some damage appearing on enemy titans. Might be dumb luck but having infinite ammo is nice anyway

Short range mode is pretty inaccurate. Long Range Mode is perfect accuracy.
