I'm not going to recommend he play, though getting a copy is not hard. FPS aren't his style, and this is a very high movement one.

Let's hope he doesn't get a taste for the IMC or worse, Kuben Blisks "Menagerie of Mental Disordered Maniacs in Mechs" Mercenary Unit.

No the movement system is literal copy pasta and a bunch of games did it before. TF2 is just praised because its one of the games that did it smoothly

​​​​​​​​​​​​@@cropathfinderTitanfall is like one of the older titles that has done this movement better than most within the decade(Titanfall 1 came out 2014). That's saying much since after CoD transitioned to the futuristic setting, the only 2 games that has wallrunning/boost would be BO3 and IW. No other game in this decade, besides these games, had a huge following. But you're right, nothing is truly "original" but TF2 has done it better as I mentioned before, BUT within the FPS genre specifically. TP games don't count for this topic.
