Hey there Wolf! Thank you so much for playing our game :) Just letting you know, we also have an explore mode that allows you to roam the ship while it sinks without any horror. We're also releasing new areas there every week!
@@jaimieleeyard8076 We've always been obsessed with the Titanic, and wanted to create something meaningful for the VR community. Before this, we created something somewhat similar, called Under: Depths of Fear. It's also a horror game set on a WWI-era sinking military ship, released on PC, Switch and Mobile.
8:47 that 3d map table reminds me of the 3d map machine in scooby doo and the Loch Ness monsters that showed the bottom of the loch floor and the monster swimming into an underwater cave I think it was called the ocean motion 3000 or something I can’t remember
Fun fact. On the real titanic there would be passengers on the top deck after they hit the iceberg. At the time, the passengers saw the smashed chunks of ice on the deck as an interesting curiosity or novelty and were handling and playing with them, completely oblivious to the danger of the impact because they wrongly believed the ship was still fine.
@@timjohnson933 Not everyone knows this. Half my friends think the Titanic was done on purpose to kill the people who opposed a central bank. I shudder when I hear the psychotic Alex Jonesesque ramblings of my xbox friends.
@@loading...8512 Either the novel "a night to remember" or one of those peculiar details brought up by that one titanic obsessed youtuber who did at least over 50 videos on different aspects of the titanic or other ship sinkings. Plus lets not forget common human curiosity. If your cruise ship hit an iceberg and there were ice chunks on deck, wouldnt you be kicking them around like big hockey pucks? If phones and tablets werent a thing, I sure would.
true but it hnik there's other games like that plus making it a ghost story might appeal more to horror fans and also make it stand out form just another titanic thing
Thank you so Much for playing this, I have a really big interest in the titanic one of my favorite things besides space and now horror is in the mix. This is exactly why you are the best RU-vidr
Well buddy… hate to say it. But you kinda sealed your fate. Anyways, I’ve gotta say, your content is great regardless of what you put out. Been here since your awesome saints and sinners play through, and it still holds up. Have a good day, and have fun with this newest series.
26:01 that's such an awesome detail... Just after the collision the engines ordered to stop have a large amount of steam at being produced that now had to be vented out of the top of the smokestacks creating an insanely loud noise that made many stay inside & difficult for crew to start organizing on deck
For most people, this does eventually go away. It varies for people though. We talk about it like “getting our VR legs.” Some experiences and comfort settings work better than others. Having a fan blowing on your face can help a ton though for me.
Might be your headset. Some people are more susceptible to motion sickness than others and the refresh rate of the headset plays a major role in it. I had an oculus rift and that had only 80hz or so, which is very low for VR. Now I got a headset that can run at 120hz and the motion sickness issue is much better than before. Also make sure your PC is poweful enough, a dip in framerate while using VR is one of the worst triggers of motion sickness.
I think a true horror game would be being trapped on the wreck, with something hunting you and desperately trying to escape. But also please don't, I have that fucking nightmare enough.
Can you please play The Walking Dead Saints and sinners chapter one again the reason I’m asking you to pray it because it’s been a graphics update on the quest3 yeah they added shadows and everything so can you please play it again?
Sinking boat. Lots of victims. Horror game. Missed opportunity for the scary thing to be an orca. Same basic premise, really; both vessels cheaped out during construction and it cost lives. Dunno how I feel about using the _Titanic,_ though. The passengers on that weren't all rich idiots who chose a penny-pinching lunatic businessman's tupperware submarine. Most of the people on the Titanic were innocent, only one on the sub, a teenager, was, _barely._
If you want to play a VR game about the Titanic, I cannot recommend Titanic: Honour and Glory enough. Note the UK spelling of honor: the Titanic was a British ship built in Ireland, which uses the UK spelling of English words, thus making it ever so befitting.
Wolf we love watching you play horror because of how good you are at staying calm or at least sounding like it. You always keep making jokes and while I love the thrills of watching horror I can’t handle it unless I have someone who can keep it together otherwise it’s just terrifying for me and that’s not any fun. So thank you for getting the ever living crap scared out of you so we can actually enjoy it.
I always love the videos you make I did chose this one and tbh kinda feel bad because you dont like horror games and etc but still love ya videos especially the old ones
