I like how one of the only "lights" on the ship in this game is in the one place on the real ship where there weren't any lights. No wonder they hit the berg, the lookouts lost their night vision! And then those two or so other lights that come from nowhere. No window lights. It's a good thing you get killed when you get on the boat, you wouldn't see anything happen anyway.
Hi Spammals, the game has been updated alot! It now is version 1 and includes many new features such as: the Titanic splitting in half, funnels collapsing, Titanic's lights going out and lifeboats being deployed. It also includes a new and improved camera mode.
You could add a bit of control to the ship as in the player could dock the ship instead of it doing it automaticaly, since the game prompts us to go to the bridge everytime. This could be one suggeestion to improve the gameplay. Maybe give us a free cam to see the ship from different angles while it sinks appart from being on it
Dont worry your game has came a long way sense release and people can say what they want but at least you tried your best with this game and didnt charge some ridiculous price for it. Im proud to say i have a another good titanic game in my collection and sense the games release ive saw a lot of hard work and listening going on. And i can say a year later job well done.
Could we also get some passengers and lifeboat action as well on the ship or is it to late because this look like a fun game to play i love the Titanic
Some may compare this to Fall of the Titanic, but that game had a massive interior, more stuff to do in the sinking, and didn't kill you when you touched water. And it had VR. This makes Fall of the Titanic look like a AAA game.
+Kyle Hudak when you put it like that I guess you're right. But this is pre-release. If the dev took away the silly land and offered VR it would change the game into something like Magnificent ships VR which was really well received.
True, but if it's getting released in the coming days, I can't imagine it being much better. It's going to get trampled in the first reviews. I the developer is aware of that and doesn't get too distressed by it. I assume this is one of those super-early access things once it is published and the dev plans to add onto it and fix stuff as it goes. Who knows, maybe it'll go somewhere much better. We'll see... For now, ports that actually look like the real ones, less touchy water death, better lights, replacing that silly ramp with a more accurate gantry, and a slower sinking would help things for a start, I think.
Well i can say its a year later and with the 2 massive updates to the game it looks great and is a great sinking simulator experience. And also if you want to compare this to fall of the titanic i wouldnt hold my breath cause fall of the titanic may have been a good idea on paper it was poorly executed and looked like a piece of crap. And in this game the ships not floating in the air nor does it look like everythings in different pieces like in fall of the titanic. But to say a AAA game umm no more like i said a piece of crap total failure. But im not being mean just stating facts because i played the game and was not impressed whatsoever. A real AAA game would be finished not look like literally pieces of crap.
Ouch, looks like Fall of the Titanic all over again, the only good part is the model he bought from someone else lol And.. Shipping Containers... in 1912 :P
I'm in Belfast, and have been to the museum, S.S. Nomadic, H.M.S Caroline, Thompson dry dock and pump house today, it's a trip I will never forget and this video is right on time! Keep up the good work spammels👍🏻👌🏼!
To be honest the model looks good, the lighting looks great. The only thing bad is that you cant do much in the game. The Southampton Queenstown bit I dont know, maybe set it as kind of a Titanic 2 thing where its in modern days and recreating the voyage? I dont know. That docking part maybe let the player dock it instead of doing it automaticaly.
Spammals, I love, love, LOVE how the producers company name is "Interactive Gaming Studios". Yet, like you said, "Playability is a 0. And what I mean by that is that there's no interaction with the ship." Spammals I just love how you pointed that out.
Spammals, sir. Have you thought about making a video about the differences between Titanic and Olympic? Since some people have this... not smart theory about them being switched n stuff. Even though you label yourself #notanexpert, I think it would be an interesting thing to hear your opinions on. xoxo.
This would be a cool game if it would be multiplayer, but then it would have to be changed when you die. I liked the game! Good pick for todays video spammals!
Exactly how you board the ship. 1912 Southampton with periodically correct cargo containers and a giant wooden ramp right into third class. And since when did large liners are able to dock in Queenstown?
The intermodal shipping containers on the dock are a glaring historical inaccuracy - they didn't arrive in the form we see today until the mid-1950s if my research is correct.
Who needs honor & blory when you have this? Super detailed, no problems, definetly not a $200 unity titanic model! 😀 recommend thus game then honor & glory! Btw for any of you that want to hate me, im being sarcastic.
By any chance... Have you played SOS? Known in Japan as Septentrion, it's a 2D platform game for the SNES that was released in 1994. Set in the early twenties aboard the fictional ocean liner the Lady Crithania (a three-funneled version of the Titanic) in a severed storm until the ship is capsized (a la Poseidon Adventure which was based/inspired of) by rogue wave. You can pick four different main characters of different positions and storylines (one crew men and three passengers). Your goal is to find a way out and help guide survivors to safety (some are easy and some are complicated to convince them to come). You got exactly one hour in real-time before game over. Depending on the survivors you have brought, there's multiple endings from tragic ending to good ending. There's videos on RU-vid, you should check it out to add it in your Titanic World.
Hey spammals i would suggest checking out this game again i agree with this review and plus i love all your videos huge fan. Anyway a lot has changed sense this review and i just wanted to bring it to your attention.
I've seen the latest update and... There's really nothing i can do to help. This isnt going to get better. I dont want to be mean or put down someone trying to do something. But it's really hard to be positive at the future of this game.
@@Spammals REVISIT THIS GAME! There's still the garbage "Southampton" and the fail of a grand staircase, but you need to see the improved sinking mode in main game; realistic list (from what I've seen from playing, seemed realistic from deck), the lifeboats actually launch (I'm not sure if in right order, or if you can ride them) and the ship breaks in two. I say the sinking mode alone makes $2 worth it. (edit) you can't ride the lifeboats, I tried and failed, they go away from the ship to fast, your best bet would be collapsible A because it kinda moves slowly away from the ship, but still fast enough for you to fall off it. (edit 2) I managed to survive on collapsable A, if you attempt to jump on it to survive, prepare to walk when it starts to speed up, don't worry, you won't have to walk that much as the boat slows down and stops. a short while after leaving the ship. Spammals, I beg of you to revisit this game and take a look at the improved sinking mode while recording.
200 dollars for a Titanic model that doesn't even have interiors? That's terrible! I could buy a replica of honor and glory crowning time with that. (I'm saving up to get one 😊)
