You cant put your bodyweight on the qb while going down. Gotta land on the side. Thats what they called, and I think the call was according to the rule book. Doesnt mean I m a fan of the rule, but you gotta know the rules before you talk about them.

Gardner Minshew is not that good. None of these Washington St QBs are ever any good in the pros- Leaf, Gesser, Halliday, etc all just garbage QBs who benefited from a pass happy system. Look at my Jets, we have Luke Falk, who should be working at Wal-Mart starting for us, we're done for

That's the thing. If the ref thinks a defender intentionally went for a qb's legs, that's automatic roughing the passer. So is using their "full body weight" if the balls been released, any contact above the shoulders, sneezing on, or making loud noises around the qb and so on. The nfl is trying get rid of defense through the rulebook cause offense gets more ratings 🤷‍♂️ Might as well just put a flag on the qb waistband that defenders have to pull! That's how soft the nfl is getting w contact to the qb

As a Titans fan I agree. I did not understand all the positivity after that week. The Browns game was within reach for Cleveland until the 4th quarter, which was crazy considering how many gifts they gave the Titans with penalties. Any halfway decent team would have closed it out.
