@Serhat Torbali I was under the impression that the songs were written by the Motown Group - which they were - so I thought these boys had limited talent.
@Serhat Torbali i didn"t know that ' but you have heard that these "songwriters" go into sessions with talented musicians and they help them write - and did you know that it was Quincy jones that helped michael write those hits and that when he stopped working with quincy the quality of his songs went down - i am not familiar with the two albums you mentioned - frankly i doubt if there good songs -
@Serhat Torbali Okay I didn't study too much on their songs - I know the early songs of the Jacksons were written by the Motown Group - and at some point, I guess they started writing the songs themselves. I'll take your word for it, cause like I said I really don't know - what I know I simply glossed over. But it is curious that these guys can take up instruments and without any guidance learn how to play - that is talent. I played guitar for 20 years and got nothing from it - cause as a man once told me in Central Park as I was playing a guitar on a park bench he said "it's what you were born with" and that about sums it up. Frank Zappa's son - was taught how to play the guitar by Steve Vai - only for a short time and Frank Zappa's son learn how to play also - some people are just born with talent. Eddie Van Halen's Son also learned how to play on his own.
Very true. I think I remember both Jermaine and Jackie saying that Tito lead just like their father....and even more intimidating was that Tito looks the most like their father
Lmao I bet she does view him as special since his career is STILL supporting her today and the others other then Janet are broke af and always begging for money.
Whipped the boys ass for breaking the house rules but, gave him the guitar so his dream wouldn't be crushed. Pops broke that ass but, he didn't break the boy. That's beautiful.
he definitely broke Michael. I am sure they are all traumatized by it. In this instance he is taking the role that happened to him, similar with abuse victims.
Michael could sing at 5 but he wasnt the lead singer then. He played percussion(bongos, tamberines, and symbol) from 5-6. Then from 7-8 he was co-lead singer with Jermaine. Then at 9 he became the lead singer and at 10 they signed the contract with Motown. At 11 Michael recorded 4 number 1 hits. And by 12 was a global icon. He literally got bigger every birthday smh
+elwin38 Jermain want hungry enough. He was just okay with being a young sex symbol but that shit doesn't last . It could have very easily been him or Michael that blew, no matter how much more talented Michael was. We know that doesn't matter. He took his career for granted.
cushe83 .. Michael only had dancing skills at a young age folks fell in love with a child that young knowing how to dance.the youngest always get the attention.
LaToya said Joe sexually abused her. LaToya also said their oldest sister moved out at 16 years old because Joe kept climbing into bed with her. Michael Jackson wouldn't even be accused of being a pedophile if Joe allowed him to have a childhood. Gave him a little bit of balance instead of just work work work. Too much work is bad. Too much play is bad. There needs to be the right amount of balance
B-boy StuntZ Before he died, LaToya’s ex-husband admitted that the whole molestation story was his idea. That’s the sad truth about lies, they’re hard to kill.
I live in Canada I'm from Canada and there's no if ands or buts that children need discipline with love they need a spanking on their buttocks but not a beating. The Holy Bible of God even states do not spare the rod spank your children yes for doing wrongthere are also other ways of disciplining your children in this time and age so that they don't turn around and be revengeful or rebellious. Do things like giving them a time-out age appropriate.. ground them. Take away their phones they're their Games etc.Equally important you must show them love you must say what a good job when they do things good. Build their self-esteem
No disrespect, but they are not in heaven. The Bible’s answer God selects a limited number of faithful Christians who, after their death, will be resurrected to life in heaven. (1 Peter 1:3, 4) Once they have been chosen, they must continue to maintain a Christian standard of faith and conduct in order not to be disqualified from receiving their heavenly inheritance.-Ephesians 5:5; Philippians 3:12-14.
My respect and love for Tito Jackson just jumped off the charts! He's right about all of this wild violence, horrific crime, and multiple shootings.....and the Bible confirms it: "Spare the rod, spoil the child."
If you were a black child growing up in a black household........ We all got hit with whatever was handy! Surprise.....surprise! Because of Joe....they became a famous family of entertainers!
@@dythiaviney430 Because of Berry Gordy the Jackson 5 became famous and Berry was more of a father to Michael than Joe. Joe hit his children for their dance steps not being perfect, that was not discipline and it was not normal or necessary. Not all black families treated their children that way. MJ has cried telling the world his situation at home, it was a love hate one with his father. He feared him, but never felt Joe showed him love. I known many black families and they do not treat their children that way. Throwing things at a child is not normal. Joe did take them to bars, and other places to play. He was persistent. It was MJ talent that made him successful.
@@arlene12345ful thank you ever so kindly for knowing the difference between a beating and discipline because you do not need to beat your child you do not need to swear at your child you do not need to lower your child's self-esteem by calling them bad names and being maladjusted.that's why dear Michael Jackson was so a messed up in his adult age because he never experienced any kind of childhood any kind of love.I bet you any kind of money he never once told any of his children that he loved them.
He isn't any different then any father anywhere. Ass whoopings were a part of life. That's just how it was. It's crazy, you hear how Joe whooped his ass for touching his guitar, and it's "ooo,he'd a bad dad". But you don't get to hear the part where he sat him down afterwards and put the guitar in his lap and let him play, and then gave it to him. ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
I love this. Tito is very forthright, honest no holds bar. His explanation of his life and the Jackson family was kind to share. None of us is owed an invitation in their private lives we've been given more than enough. And it shoots down the negative plot that the media tried to create. Ty Tito Jackson
"As you age, all of your muscles naturally lose mass. This includes the muscles of your vocal cords and voice box that make your voice work." - A medical website. Tito Jackson is now 67 years old.
D M lol 😆 well Tito don’t think his father is the devil..that’s for sure.. I don’t like extensions cords.. but a switch can knock that foolishness out of kid.. so many bad ass kids out here..
MJ was murdered for his shares of the SONY ATV music publishing catalog so they could buy it back. It's digusting. Michael said on record many times he would never sold his 50% shares of the $2BILLION catalog so they killed him and the estate sold them his shares... truly repugnant. They didnt need the money they'd already made BILLIONS in profit to pay off his $400M in debts. Im just really appalled.
Tito Jackson is still the bomb. I agree that Joe Jackson was strict but look at the outcome. His children stayed out of prison and for the most part away from illicit activities. Praise be to Joe Jackson and thank you for the Jackson family. No one is perfect and his parenting was imperfect too, but RIP and may God bless the family.
I got my butt whipped all the time. It wasn't nothing to me! LOL... pick your own switch and crying while you're picking it off the tree. But, I grew up owning houses, raising my family and retiring early. I've never been arrested and none of my sibling have ever gotten in trouble with the law. That says a lot...
Get em tito, speaking the truth of what hard living and good discipline meant, parents and kids these days need to hear this and let it sink in their heads
That's not an abusive Father. That's a working-class Dad with 9 kids in a bad neighborhood keeping his kids line so the police won't have to. If the black community had more Joseph Jacksons as fathers, who knows how great things would be for them. He beat his ass for disobeying, then gave him the guitar because he showed talent and clearly had been practicing. That's discipline, love and parenting all in one.
How many people can say that? He was a HELL of a lot better, than the one I had. Joe and Katherine, gave us the Jackson 5, Janet, a little bit of Reebi, and, Michael solo, all that I have to say to Joe, is. THANKS!!!!!!
If it wasn’t for Tito the Jackson 5 may never have existed. His place in music history is forever cemented for that reason alone - and he was a great guitar player to boot. RIP to the legend, Tito Jackson.
My mother have 7,4boys 3 girls and when she move we move ,My dad was calm one lol. I use to think she was mean, but now I thank her because all 7 of us are still here no drugs no baby mama drama,no jail ,some of our friends are dead or jail, and those were the ones that had everything,RIP mom and thank u,Am 57 happy and content with life
Quite simple. This generation (as a result of the last generation).... Kids are having kids, so what's a kid going to teach another kid? That's why this generation is messed up.
yeah they have been in jail but you know the interesting thing is look how screwed up they are in their head and I say that with love and compassionI love all the Jackson five's at all of them but they are really dysfunctional and they need healing
When i heard MICHAEL JACKSON sing .Climb Every Mountain!I just couldn't stop the Tears from flowing! The song was just so Beautiful. I still find myself playing it sometimes. Especially when I'm feeling a little down. LOVE and MISS YOU. MICHAEL JACKSON. RIP⚘⚘💖💖💖💖💖💖
if you use violence to instill lessons violence will also be used to resolve them ruling by fear is the way of the streets not the way to raise the future just raising a scary ass dummy not teaching or empowering the little mind just berating it Effective parenting 😂
Amen, Tito is right, even your neighbors could discipline you ..and in school we surely got spanked with that THICK wooden paddle, would cry, be stinging, and nothing you could do but sit on down and wipe those tears up! oh and this was the 70s, lol
@@Lancehendrix813 yes there was this one kid back in 60s oh my gosh he would not keep quiet and would always get spanked by the teacher then he would complain and get spanked again
When I was young in the 70's I had a friend Titus, this dude swore by Tito Jackson now iI see why. Tito was the glue that held that group together back in the day.
Tito was always considered to be the tough one in the group, the enforcer. Tito is dropping some knowledge about children being raised by active parents who whopped ass and kept their kids on the straight and narrow
One BIG mistake Joe Jackson made was not to trade mark the name The Jackson Five. Berry Gordy must had jumped on that very quickly knowing that Joe did have a clue about the Music business.
ALL SO "BELOVED"!!! Definetly the soundtrack to OUR LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!! Tito and Reebie, of course, got the best grounding...back home in the G.!!!!!!!!!! Love em ALL!!!!! Their Moms is THE STRONGEST!!!😙😙❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Totally agree with him as far as discipline, this is why kids are today are so lost, a little discipline, sometimes takes care of a lot of things, exactly what he said is true with myself, a lot of my friends are either dead. or in jail, my father was tough with us, as a older I realize that it was the right thing to do.
His father was simply a no nonsense father. 50’s 60’sand 70’s parenting was like that. Once that crack era came in the 80’s parenting became unhinged and a lot of broken homes formed (fatherless homes), and grandparents did what they could.
WOW, you can say what you want about JOE but he knew how to instill discipline and nurtured the musical talent they all had. Joe was a real father, most black men are non present....
Such a humble man. Always realize everytime you see a outcast in class or treat one of your family members differently, you might not know it but they might just be the new Michael Jackson.
Joe was an excellent father. I agree with Tito. People always talking about the good old days. Well, they were so good because kids stayed in a kid's place. Adults were adults not overgrown teenagers.
