I worked with this guy on a set once. It’s crazy how these mean, abusive actors can easily spin their image with and interview or two. This man was disrespectful, loud, and honestly he was like taking care of a baby. No excuses for the way he treats a crew.

I was diagnosed with an AVM in 2011 … my life after recovering has been a whirlwind of emotions and battling impulse control and fits of anger. It’s hard , but I have always been an extremist. I was never told about a medication that could help but thanks to seeing this I’m going back to my neurologist because I feel the seasonal depression kicking in and that’s my least favorite of the whole thing that I fight all winter long . As TJ knows … it’s not something that we can talk about with anyone so even tho I’m sad you had this , I’m glad to know I’m not alone ❤️🤙🏼

I don't ever really share my addiction. I feel for anyone that is a addict or been a addict! I was bad addict on a lot things but at the end I was hook on that more purier form of heroin that hit the west coast over ten years ago when they took the oxycontin away. I was very addicted to those 80mg blueish ones. But I am happy to say I finally walked myself into treatment December 26th 2012. Cuz I wanted to spend x mas with my parents and family before I walked myself in. And never looked back and now will have ten years clean and sober this December 26th. This year. Like I said I don't normally share. For whatever reason idk. But for all those that are suffering from any addiction. It's so weird hearing them talk about this. I started experiencing the same thing when my girlfriend passed away, and found her in our bedroom. Your mind plays so many tricks on you. Suspicious, depressive, anxious, and an alert feeling I can't describe. Using drugs or alcohol is so temporary, even when meds are prescribed. Regardless of the situation, the feeling is still there. But I do remember wanting to be in that manic state to see if I can overcome it. Trying to find a real feeling instead of constant shock. Like a dark shadow you become friends with. You want to understand what's happening to you, but you never make sense of it. Man. What a trip, they're explaining exactly how it feels, consuming substances or not, it happens to regular people.

He flashes a tiny shred of humility and everyone kisses his feet 🙄 I'm so tired of people placing the blame of their bad behavior on mental illness while clearly not putting in very much leg work in maintaining it. Practically everyone has a disorder at this point, not saying they are fake because I have gnarly anxiety issues. But if you take no steps to combat those issues and just play the apology game after the fact, pointing at the Illness as the cause, you do a disservice to the rest of us who put in REAL effort to live normal lives. SO many peers have come out and said he was demeaning and rude to them, and never dropped that act. Maybe he is method, maybe he is overwhelmed, but that doesn't detract from the fact that he is very likely an asshole. My dad's best friend since childhood was shot in the head during a robbery and lived albeit with brain tissue being removed. He's one of the nicest people I know, and the only side effect he says he gets is headaches which he smokes weed for, and apparently a loss of fear for his life.

I cannot account for any of it’s accuracy EXCEPT rare side effects of keppra are psych issues: Psychiatric and behavioral abnormalities Psychotic symptoms, paranoid ideation, hallucinations, and behavioral problems (including aggressive behavior, agitation, anger, anxiety, apathy, confusion, depersonalization, depression, emotional lability, hostility, dyskinesia, irritability, nervousness, neurosis, and personality disorder) may occur in adult and pediatric patients Compared to some of the older drugs we have that were literally toxic so required close level monitoring, could kill your livers and your hearts, keppra is the safer alternative for sure. BUT everyone ALWAYS forgets about the psych side effects because it’s relatively so much safer than say phenytoin or valproic acid. However, i’ve seen a harmless grandma fall, have a TBI, get put on keppra then hulk smash her way through multiple nurses/ security in a psychotic episode from the keppra. Pharmacy always gotta be involved in this stuff cause we recognized it right away and switched her to vimpat actually! Source: pharmacist and uptodate

I met his wife and him at the restaurant I worked at. I had an awesome experience meeting them both. He walked into the kitchen and told everyone how awesome the food was. And we all went and drank and shot pool together after we got off. I mostly chatted with his wife bc I can’t pool and her and I talked about health care and she gave me some resources. I’d say it was one of the coolest and most genuine experiences I’ve ever had. Especially since normal people around me treat me like I don’t exist but they both took the time to hang out with me.

I'd say it's indicative of someone who can afford the healthcare/healthcare coverage he needs (and then chooses to utilize it, of course.) But, my point being... most of us can't gain the knowledge and skills TJ has, due to the huge financial barriers. Personally, I have been blessed with access to quality providers, fairly good healthcare coverage (throughout most of my life), and enough "disposable" income to fair pretty well, BUT... I could be doing a hell of a lot better, if money weren't a barrier between myself and additional services! I wish everyone could at least get the marginal help I have received 😄🤪💯

@arianaink100
@arianaink100 Год назад
Umm when it’s neurological/sensory processing issues being the ‘normal’ for you and having to function “normally” in society is different then just being normal. Being inebriated on top of already processing differently causes your behavior to deviate from standard behaviors because you’re not trying to be acting in a “normal” state. For those moments you’re acting how you feel or like yourself an no ones holding great expectations for how you act when intoxicated. So for a lot of people addiction is the moment you feel free to act like yourself and be accepted by others. (If you’re to be sober and weird/defective/disabled it’s a different day to day experience then just being another person at the same party where everyone might be a little wild/wack but also trying to all be on the same vibe) That’s different then being normal and letting loose with a drink/smoke to relax. Or getting inebriated to party out of a want to socialize as a pass time. Drugs are an excuse because you’re already not performing to standards as you are inherently sober If your considered a deviant and if you’re drunk or high you can say I’m partaking in ‘standard bad behavior’ that’s socially acceptable to a degree. That way anything that’s abnormal can be chalked up to inebriation not you/your disability. Or you can bond with “normal” functioning people by both deviating from standards the same way. It’s a bad attempt at connection to everyone, because sober there’s not alot of camaraderie between the mentally ill/disabled to those that aren’t. Bedlam or asylum you can run from a booty shot in a ‘hospital’ or take a drink with everyone else on earth outside of a cell till you get thrown in one Edit: different drugs will have different effects from a normal brain, for a lot of people who have brain damage or processing issues they OD because higher levels are usually needed to get a “normal” expected high. (1 autistic person in a group can do a higher dose usually because a sizing for a regular person isn’t even gonna translate in their brain as enough stimuli, what’s considered a small dose/normal dose is micro dosing for people who have neurological differences then normal brains) (the issue is the brain needs more to process the drugs effects but your body can only handle so much, two people of the same weights are gonna handle similar drug amounts. If one of those two doubles the amount they’re taking to get the same effects then that person that’s doing extra is gonna suffer organ failure. so people who have brain-issues usually OD considerably more often and die earlier due to constant use at high levels to get mediocre results that average people get from using lower dosages

The study he mentioned about different people from all over the globe having different experiences with their schizophrenia is not to do with the voice that they hear but what the voice is saying… In North America we have a lot more than other places but still feel the need to have more our voices tendo say bad things However you go somewhere like Africa and the voices are usually telling people more reassuring/helping things. It’s all to do with the culture programming your subconscious. Then that get relayed in the voices you hear. If you come from positivity you have a better chance of having positive voices.

TJ walks out on his phone.people are saying hey good show show, stuff like that, he tells them thanks but you could tell he's trying to focus on his phone call. He walks past me and my friends. I say thanks again and we wave. He then goes hang on to whoever he was on the phone with and put his hand over the speaker. Then said thank you for coming out, y'all drive safe and again man, thats a sweet tattoo, and my delivery was funny AF. Everyone has there up and downs. But he didn't have to do that, he could've just kept walking by or waved or thanked me like he did everyone else. Crazy how one moment or permanent tattoo can change your outlook on life lol

I just want to say thank you steve-o. This sounds crazy but I know he’d understand. I’m an addict and I’m 23 and I’ll be sober for a year in 3 months but my version of being sober has changed because I always thought that being sober means being 100% clean from any and all substances. In my eyes being sober for me is learning about everything you take and it not being something you depend on to be happy or just to go about your day. My substance or choice was xans and coke and I haven’t done them since but I’ve used other things but I’m not using it as a crutch. Drugs are taboo and for that reason there’s not much research and studies that’s been done about the illegal drugs so not many people actually understand the substances or why people use them. Drugs have been used by people and animals (yes animals) since forever but we used them for certain occasions like ceremonies for eg. If you test your stuff and you not using every day, and month then you should be able to do so but addicts are addicts because they build up a reliance and that’s the thing that’s the issue because that just leads you down nothing good. If your able to beat that and really understand that you can manage whatever you do and take then do it but only if you can because obviously I don’t want people to relapse because I’m telling them what I do. Remember I’m not using the stuff that I have issues with but that doesn’t mean I’m not able to create the same issues with other things it just means I’ve learnt that I put myself in a situation where I was forced to do everything on my own so if I mess up I’m on my own , no hand outs or no one to enable me. What I wanted to get at is you put your life out there for everyone to see since you were a kid and I used you as something to look back on and say “ if Steve-o can change and become the person he is today then I can do it too” and it really helped me I just need to take the steps. Lol I’m basically saying thanks for all the shit you’ve gone through to help me see that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I really appreciate who you are today too and it makes me happy knowing your in a good space and killing the game, books, comedy and this RU-vid sheet. I hope I meet you someday soon and maybe get to have a very long conversation because I’d love to learn more about you on a personal level and I’d open up to you. Obviously that’s crazy but I ain’t have money to come see your shows and I’m in Pennsylvania and broke but working on it lol. Love you man
