Hi Arvin: I'm new to your channel and I wanted to comment here because I just got a steal on a Longchamp tote at my local TJ Maxx (in the Runway section). They're putting stuff on clearance that has been sitting for all of these months. The tote was $59 (retails for $190). So definitely check out your local TJ Maxx for their Runway clearance items.
I still love my LV reverse monogram *hqluxy* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I would definitely shop TJ Maxx in store and online for designer handbags. I’ve been on their website before and they have a ton more selection online than in most stores that offer the runway section. Plus you get a major discount and the bags are generally just from last season, which doesn’t bother me because these bags are expensive and investment pieces that I will keep/wear for more than a season.
"Nobody Asked" Prior to closed boarders I was planning a trip to Italy which would include shopping at a Dedigner Outlet Mall that has the world's largest Gucci Outlet.
I suggest shopping online more so than in store because sometimes customers will return a fake in its place. The associates who are unfamiliar with runway will not know the difference. TJMAXX does accept pieces without tags being attached if the customer puts up a fuss. I know because I was a Coordinator for TJMAXX. Good Luck, guys. 💚
Thanks Arvin, love the Balenciaga bag, the original designer of that style bag was Coco Chanel and she named it the “Alma” bag, later on she apparently sold the design to LV. Love the design!
Love love laaavv your content!! Found your channel just the other day and have been watching from oldest to newest!! Would love a video of tips on decorating modern contemporary
Actually that’s a great idea! I don’t like too many handbags nowadays but it could be some thing I could look into once I do find something I like. Or actually I could just go around looking at the handbags and we can talk about it LOL
"Nobody Asked" but I find great fine jewelry & watches from brands like Gucci, Versace, Fendi at TJ MAXX with sweet discounts (over 50% off) , make even sweeter by red tag price reductions if they don't sell quickly. I'm talking 18KT Gold, Sterling Silver, Stainless Steel.💎
Alvin I would like to see you do a video on the Balmain blazer. There isn’t a store near me that sells them. I’m confused as to which one to get. Where is the best place to get one online? Do they ever go on sale? What is the grain de poudre wool compared to the others? I want the short fitted jacket preferably something lighter weight but still structured. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 😁
I purchased a fake Gucci soho hobo leather bag three days ago.I was able to quickly figure out it was fake. I returned it last night. I paid $1749.99. I was disappointed but glad l had sense s ought to try to get the bag authenticated before taking the tags off. I took a lot of pictures of it. I will send them to you if you want to make a video to teach you subscribers.
I love the look & price of the Stewart Weitzman Maryjane shoe, but I've had problems with every SW that I've purchased from pain, to falling apart so I'm DONE. Thanks for braving the Camera Issue for us. Sometimes Vloggers are welcome. I definitely take many still photos of High End Items when shopping AND I ask the Sales Associates to assist.
Arvin!!! Not only are you smart and cute. You are funny and I love your style. Thanks po, for doing this TJ haul. Good “change it up” in content. You should do more of these...
Not true because not that long ago articles were coming out that people have purchased items then did their research and in fact many were FAKE , so u really have to do your homework and know how to spot a fake so again TJ MAX is known to sell non authentic items , all u have to do is GOOGLE about this topic and many videos will come up FACTS !!!!!

♦️DID YOU KNOW? A WORD OF WARNING!♦️Hey Arvin n everyone. Like you, I like and aspire to lovely designer items and acknowledge the dupes are good and much more budget friendly. Did you know tho, that if you’re flying in or out of a or your country, Border Officials are now seizing the imitated items and are handing out fines for you having purchased counterfeit products? Wearing a faux designer watch? Faux designer sunglasses? Carrying a faux designer wallet, purse or bag? Wearing faux designer clothing or shoes? Border Officers respect the designers’ copyrights/patents, and will now remove/seize all counterfeit items and levy fines against you. So, enjoy those things locally but never fly/travel with anything but original designer garments/items. You’re welcome to challenge this if you so desire. Thanks.
I don’t understand why people feel “designer” items are so important. One person wears Target and the other wears Balenciaga. Is one more important than the other? It is shallow. Who needs a $200 wallet?
Tl S IMO....Designer pieces are much higher quality. You can buy a Louis Vuitton bag and it will last for decades! You buy a target bag and it falls apart, easily damaged, zipper breaks etc so you throw it away and buy another which is a waste. I have a designer white button shirt for $700 and it still looks brand new even 6 years later! Cheap fast fashion is poisoning our environment and often made by kids in sweatshops. You don’t have to be labeled from head to toe, but owning key pieces that will last for years just makes sense! You don’t NEED a $200 wallet, but if you get one it’ll still function long after that plastic one is in landfill. For me it’s quality over quantity! I’d rather have10 designer pieces than 100 cheap pieces. Especially if you can get them for a huge discount at places like TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack! Hope this answers your questions and I’ll see ya at the Runway!
It’s personal preference. Same reason why some folks shop at WholeFoods vs some shopping at Aldi or Safeway. I, at this point in my life, is fine with non designer items, but that doesnt take away from those who prefer getting key pieces in designer or high end. It’s just a preference, and I respect both sides.
I purchased an LV wallet from my local TK Maxx's Runway Collection. In the UK, it's TK not TJ. My lovely Louis Vuitton wallet is a complete fake, sadly. LV does not recognise the design. TK Maxx will NOT allow me to return it, because it was on sale and their stores are in lockdown. I was thrilled with the great price and didn't check closely enough. Everything about the wallet screamed authentic, but the giveaway turned out to be that the credit card pockets were one and a half millimetres too small. I lost £300. A clutch purse and shoulder bag I purchased at the same time were completely authentic, but both a little foxed.
